



WOAC - My mate Brian plays in a tribute band called Dury Service - they are mainly based in Gloucester where he now lives - but they also play gigs around Wiltshire including the Vic in Swindon just up the road from me.had a love affair with nina in the back of my cortina. a seasoned up hyena could not of been more obscener, god bless ian dury.


I practiced in and took test in my Dads mk1 Zephyr Zodiac 6 cylinder cream and green reg was LBL604 .... my first car was a Vauxhall 10 1946 model .. doors opened from centre pillar behind driver! second car was a Consul MK2 third car Morris Mini followed by an Austin 1078cc Cooper...............I learnt to drive in my dads red Cortina mk 4 2.0GL.

I loved these when I was a teenager. I think all of the fastbacks were all 3.0 litre cars weren't they ?Was your Consul the same shape as the Granada (Sweeney) mk 1?
I loved those - particularly the 2 door 3.0L coupe.
