Good business this Nicked this of the qpr not 606 Dickie was one of our star players and there remains a star player in there. This was evidenced at Burnley. We should be working to rebuild his career with him rather than allowing someone else to do so and selling him on for sod all. Watch him score one of his wonder strikes against us next season when confidently rejuvenated by a back room team that isn’t amateur, and one that is fit for purpose. Another bit of pi55poor business by us and sadly, it’s all that we can continue toexpect from the shambles we have mismanaging the club.
WOAC - My mate Brian plays in a tribute band called Dury Service - they are mainly based in Gloucester where he now lives - but they also play gigs around Wiltshire including the Vic in Swindon just up the road from me. I must admit, I’m not a fan of Ian Dury - I went to see my mates band to support him really (I preferred his previous band when he lived in Swindon ‘Down and Dirty - lots of AC/DC covers!) Anyway, look them up if you like Ian Dury and happen to be in the area

looks a solid signing, but i*ll wait till he has 20 or so games under his belt before i get exited, but good luck to him and and his new wife and welcome to bristol,
I practiced in and took test in my Dads mk1 Zephyr Zodiac 6 cylinder cream and green reg was LBL604 .... my first car was a Vauxhall 10 1946 model .. doors opened from centre pillar behind driver! second car was a Consul MK2 third car Morris Mini followed by an Austin 1078cc Cooper...............
Was your Consul the same shape as the Granada (Sweeney) mk 1? I loved those - particularly the 2 door 3.0L coupe.
Bristol City in talks to sign PL man on free transfer, spent last season on loan at Derby County https://the72.co.uk/2023/06/06/bris...er-spent-last-season-on-loan-at-derby-county/
All over OTIB - apparently the Joe Bryan ‘deal’ has fallen through. No idea if true but it’s a hot topic over there. https://www.otib.co.uk/index.php?/topic/220764-joe-bryan/page/39/ Red Robin - is it true ?
The Dickie deal sounds decent to me. And if we can get the guy from Brighton we could be making some headway.
I loved these when I was a teenager. I think all of the fastbacks were all 3.0 litre cars weren't they ? I also liked the 2.5L standard Consul as well which was the entry level Granada MKI They just looked very cool at the time and they were big cars too. There are still quite a few decent examples about, on the road and for sale, although a lot are South African imports.
Wants a three year deal-apparantly two on the table. Leicester have come sniffing. If the Brighton guy signs -either Bryan is not happening or Pring is off Palace are interested in him apparantly.
