It was Rangers <ok> The SPL is well below the standard of the PL though.

But you're right, if he does as well for Spurs as O'Neil did with Villa it will be a huge success for them <laugh>

I was going to mention it Fosse but didn't want to disappoint the Spuds as Poste only won the Asia Cup.

You really should be talking him out of retirement to take over at yours. Or has he burnt bridges after Nott Forest.

Apparently he was considered for the interim role given to Dean Smith ... would much rather have had him ... O'Neil and Ranieri shared the ability to make telling tactical changes / substitutions ... something that Rodgers was distinctly **** at ...

Yeh agree he was tactically very good and players wanted to play for him. Probably the best manager I can think of not to get a gig at one of the top 6 clubs (no disrespect but you know what I mean)

Part of me wants to say Bobby Robson but he did manage Barcelona, England and Newcastle before other clubs inserted themselves into the big 6 so maybe he doesn't count.

Indeed I do ...a man of principle, still revered for his honesty in our gaff ... said there were only 2 gigs he would consider leaving us for ... his 'dream jobs' ... Manchester United and Celtic... true to his word and, as such, still got legendary status in Leicestershire...

Rodgers will be remembered for bringing us the FA Cup ... but not with anything like the warmth and affection that the vast majority of Leicester fans have, and will always have, for MON and Claudio...
