Were trying to get into a league overseen by VAR, not sure I want that effecting the excitement of actual time incidents.
Linaker saying they're going to simplify the hand ball rule next season...no **** sherlock.
It's the biggest downside of getting to the PL imo. Glad we don't have it in the Championship.

They change the handball law every other year, just like the offside rule. The main issue is that players, managers and fans are unable to accept when a decision goes against them. People will always blame the referee for the one mistake they made, rather than the 50 things their team did wrong. The only thing that has changed is that VAR often proves the ref got it right, so now people have to attack the rules instead.

I'd prefer no VAR and simple decisions, but it wouldn't stop anyone complaining about decisions when they lose.
