It’s all very boring this, the BBC news at 10 tonight led with, Two weeks after Philip Schofield resigned, at which point I turned it off, 2 weeks and the Tory BBC burying bad news elsewhere still going on about a stupid lying idiot quitting his job, no one has any proof he groomed the lad, shagged him under age, nothing, yet, the press are going for what, his suicide, it’s a disgrace our press, the UK is run by the gutter press.
A quick look at the Hitler supporting Daily Mail, it has 15 separate stories on the homepage relating to Schofield, but none relating to fat **** Johnson deleting his WhatsApp messages, at the same time 200k citizens of the UK died of Covid, make of that what you will.
It's a deflection tactic that the right wing press has used for years - feed juicy headlines to get the little Englanders/homophobes/racists etc hating on some random person or group to draw attention away from whats going on in the real world. If that doesn't work, my daughters tell me Love Island's back next week!
What's the conspiracy theory for the Sudan civil war getting blanket coverage 5 weeks ago and nowt since?
Possibly to limit the amount of sympathy when they try to flee to the UK.

Totally agree that the amount of ongoing coverage is ridiculous. Turned the TV on this morning and that was the topic yet again.
However, two things.
Firstly, I don't believe it's got anything to do with anyone trying to deflect or hide what's going on elsewhere in the country. That's just stupid conspiracy level thinking. It's simply a sign of how far this country, the general public, the media has sunk over recent decades. It's obviously what too many of the public want to be fed via TV, newspaper, social media, etc, that's why it takes up more oxygen than for example the war in Ukraine or wars elsewhere or good news stories (shock horror that they would report them).
Secondly, of course there was underage sex involved. If there wasn't then there'd be threats of libel, law suits, etc flying around by now. Twt but there isn't and I very much doubt there will be.
Time for everyone to move on and ignore the slimy cnut.

It seems very odd that someone trying to distance themselves from the 'Tory' gutter press and vulturistic media would go out of his way to do an interview with them?
