Not sure. Keep em all keen. We are so hard to beat. I genuinely think we will win at Derby.

Looking forward to seeing his goal, sounded like a cracker, if you believe the gruesome twosome from Blunderside that is.

he looked sharp when he came on, before the goal..
id probably give him a run out tuesday, be good to let mclean and fryatt know they arent guaranteed a start..i know it sounds fickle after he got a hat trick at scunny, but fryatt looked like he had lead in his boots today, especially when he was put through in the 1st half with an 8 yard head start...

also promised i wasnt going to repeat myself about barmby, as i say it every week, but once again his work rate should have made a couple blush, cant be long before he gets a start either?

why would he start with old man steptoe?the reason he has the work rate is that he comes on for 20 mins. start him and 20 mins in hes knackered.:emoticon-0114-dull:

no others work like that off the bench, or the start, he runs past half our players to close somebody down, then gets up and runs past the same bunch of players to track back,,if i was on there and somebody nearly twice my age was doing that, id be embarrassed....
all game today mclean and fryatt were miles apart...as soon as the change was made, fryatt won a flick, barmby was right behind him, as a strike partner should be and we forced a corner, his impact is instantaneous...if he started, then maybe we wouldnt wait till the 60th minute to look like we want to win..

Simpson looked sharp when he came on, I think the addition strikers may have made him think a bit, for me he did enough to earn a start.

Though I'd still partner him with Fryatt, he had a poor game today, but it's a rarity and I'd be tempted to stick Mclean on the wing to replace Stewart(we look too soft with Belaid, Koren, Evans and Stewart across the middle). Ironically, I thought today's game was crying out for someone like Jimmy in the middle.

Barmby looks our best player every time he comes on, I don't think there's any chance of him being started, Pearson likes the effect he has when he comes on as a sub(Unsurprising, as he has one hell of an effect).

agree we do look soft, we got a couple of lucky free kicks today, when evans was just outmuscled...we lack a genuine ball winner, and i think in away games such as forest, qpr , swansea etc..that will be our downfall ( i havent forgotten harper before anybody asks)

I'd love to see Barmby in the middle playing the Scholes type role from the off, I just don't think there's any chance of it happening.

Though I am making this comment, I am happy for the way NP is running our squad at the moment, but,Brownie may have done the same, of course, with Duffin fully backing him up, with minimal spend on wages, or agents fees.

Three games and three different strikers have scored 6 goals altogether....... We wouldn't have seen that earlier in the season!

The amount of times I've thought, the day Jay Simpson scores a header...

Then he goes and scores one with his back to goal. Brilliant.

Hard to choose between the three strikers now, although I reckon Pearson will stick with Fryatt and McLean and bring Simpson on as an impact sub - if he continues to perform then he'll be back in the starting line-up in no time.
