If howden is Paul musselwhite, I just want to say he made probably the best save I’ve ever seen in person. Back in div 3 someone headed a ball and he dove one way, then it took a deflection going the other way to which he somehow dove the other way midair to flick it out on the line (seaman vs sheff Utd fa cup esque). Always remember that, was incredible.
Haha I'm not mussie, but I do know him and trained with him and all the other keepers around his time ( I was about 14/15/16 ) when he was at the club.
We've always seemed to be blessed with good keepers, obvs mussy willo etc aren't as good as darlow/Ingram. But for the level we where at when we had them, they where good keepers.
Very Close but nope, again do know him... The poster earlier on was correct when he PM'd me. But I'm not going to make it public knowledge for obvious reasons.
Yep agree with you there, can’t seem to think of many season when we’ve not had a good gk for the level we were at. also agree with your earlier point about darlow, I really rate him but if he will be expensive I’d rather spend it on a striker or defensive midfielder and keep Ingram as number 1.
Apologise i can't recall your name but i remember you surprisingly packing it in when it looked like you were nailed on for the first team eventually
Probably unfair to judge him off a loan spell 13 years ago. If we are remotely considering Sonny Bradley then Ayala would be a good shout for the same reasons Bradley brings
