At least Gordon is 22 with potential AND he works hard defensively. Gordon hasn't even had a proper run in the team. ASM is 26 and has been in the PL for 4 years and has consistently been ****e. Like I said, I'm NOT saying we should sell him, but he's not worth more than 20m. Gibbs white got 5 goals and 7 assists this season and worked his nuts off and he was 25m.
He is worth more than 20 million though tash that's he discussion and you're completely wrong. Prices these days are insane and prem players sell for higher than in Europe. Newcastle don't have to sell players for less than their value....they will be looking to buy players.... taking in a measly 20 million really isn't going to excite them.
Richarlison cost 60m and has 1 goal and 3 assists I think. I'd want to keep Max overall, but will state I would be shocked if he was sold for less than 30million.
Tbh if we could get 25m for ASM, even if his replacement costs 30m it would potentially be worth it if the got similar attacking returns PLUS worked hard.
He's better than ASM. Over a season Murphy would probably get similar or more returns than ASM + he works hard defensively, and that defensive work rate adds 5-10m to a players value.
Then when the player you bring in get injured all season you'll realise your mistake... then the back up player gets a hamstring and you'll be ****ed

Tbh max is annoying he's just worth more than 20 million... I suspect someone will offer around 35 to 40 and they'll sell .
Gibbs white transfer fee is £25 million, rising to £42.5million with all the add ons. I wouldn't be surprised if Saint Maximin were sold and if so it would probably be for more than you are suggesting. Attacking flair and his raw ability levels will always attract interest and an added premium on price. To sell for less than we could fetch is daft.
I just don't understand why fans are so focused on selling players ... it's buying players that's the way fwd.
Newcastle don't need to sell players for half their value. It's hardly an issue having landed in the champions league , obtained extra sponsorship money and tv money. ... it's about depth now, so they aren't going to start selling players for less than their value mate. If it was down to the fans they'd have chased out Joelinton and almiron and still have a number for Ryan fraser and Shelvey.
It'll be exciting this summer I feel....they'll crank it up a little. A little bit of quality here and there and just keep trim off the waste like fraser, Ritchie , krafth ,Manquillo and lascelles. There's a desperation from the people that hate Maximin to sell him , but there's less useful players to trim off regardless. I find him irritating .. he's never fit that's the issue... just when he hits fitness and form he gets injured, but I'd rather have him available for cup competitions than Ritchie Once the fans have a victim it's almost impossible to stop the bullying..... Joelinton is the only one I can think of that's managed to slap them all over and end up forcing them to suck his plumbs every week. Even Wilson needs replacing according to these guys....lol he's got 18 goals and 5 assists... the best since Shearer.
