After 54 years of writing 'landed on The Moon' on his performance review, Buzz Aldrin has finally been promoted to Brigadier General.
Can I ask for a favour please guys? Firstly, forgive me for asking this question, because I have already asked it a few months back. I have a £20 bet with a mag. In conversation in the local pub, I mantioned about the amount of times we have been live on TV (Sky, and BBC Cup match v Fulham) I said we will have probably been on live TV (including today) about a dozen times. He borked at the idea, saying we won't have been on 7 times. We compromised - He now bets me £20 that we haven't hit double figures. I Stick with 12 or over. I'm sure we have deffo been live over 12 times....including today. He wants me to list all the games ffs ! I think I can recall these - Coventry Sheff Wed Sheff Utd Blackburn Norwich Birmingham Boro Reading Huddersfield... Can anyone settle this please.........I want to take the dinner money off the gobshite.... Cheers
So we have - Coventry Sheff Wed Sheff Utd Blackburn Norwich Birmingham Boro Reading Huddersfield... And - Burnley Hull WBA ..another Norwich game. (and Preston today, and Fulham on BBC1) At least 15 times then...
Not true, sadly. Obi was a genuine formation callsign - used to be Jaguars from Coltishall but went up to Tornados at Lossie when the Jags were retired. Pilots callsigns are the station trigraph (in his case LOS for Lossiemouth) followed by a two or three digit number from which you can work out which squadron he was in. 01, 02, and 03 are normally reserved for the station bigwigs.
https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spo...erland-confirm-two-more-championship-26379153 As of the 3rd of March we had been on sky 16 times. Burnley and Hull in this article took it to 18. Add the Preston game in the mix and the two up coming Luton games, that puts us on 21 live Sky games. Fingers crossed for a 22nd. ps I may have missed games out during Hull and Peston so may not be accurate. But in short, a skunk owes you 20 quid. Just shows how thick they are to table a wager like that.
Dave Jones said in a pod cast long before he was apart of the club that the teams that draw sky audiences in , other than the usual suspects are, in no particular order Leeds Villa Sunderland Then up the road.
