I know they dont have to be football based but can anyone think of a good football movie? Only ones I can think of are the Goal trilogy (Goal 3 is awful) and of course Newcastle 5-1 Sunderland ;)

Oh and the Damned United, I never watched that though, is it any good?

They've played Damned United quite a few times on the trips to away matches, it was good the first time or two but enoughs enough.

Back to the Future is my favourite film of all time, definitely.
But then the other 4 are difficult, I like so many.
So we'll just stick with Back to the Future as number one!

He doesn't half make it tough for himself <laugh>

    Rocky series
    Die Hard series
    Invictus
    Cool Runnings
    Get Him To The Greek

Probably loads more that I have forgotten about that could have got on the list. I was temped to add "Goal", but the only reason it's a good film is because it's about Newcastle, but apart from that it's actually quite a bad movie lol.

Escape to Victory. Great film. I got an Allies shirt from TOFFs with Ossie Ardiles number on it years ago.

Shaolin Soccer is a must for any football fan. The final 30 minutes are so completely ridiculous that I was literally crying from laughter, and the rest of the movie is hilarious as well. Funniest movie I have ever seen. If you've seen Kung Fu Hustle, imagine the ridiculous of that applied to football, and you've got the gist of it.

    Here's a trailer for it:

Actually I just remembered Mike Bassett: England Manager. Easily one of the funniest films I have ever seen.

    Drama: American History X

Action: Ong Bak (The film is a bit ridiculous but that fight scene is continuous, if they made 1 mistake they had to completely rebuild the set and start again...UNREAL!)

    Comedy: Hot Rod

MEGA SHARK VS GIANT OCTOPUS is easily the worst film ever made. Infact it's so bad it's not even funny making it the greatest film ever
