I’m pretty certain we are back in for Scott Twine from Burnley and Toffollo from Forest. Would be happy with both of those.
Shirley there’ll be no movement on any forest players until they know which division they’re going to be in
Btw I’ve no idea who tofollo is unless it’s the posh bird on celebrity jungle

They used to sell them in my local newsagents. Think they were discontinued, probably because they brought out a mint flavour and they were ****ing horrendous.

The mint ones were better than the banana ones.

Discontinued in 2005 apparently.

Disputable, any confection that tastes like toothpaste is not money well spent.

Apparently you can get them on eBay from the UAE, but I can’t see why anybody wouldn’t want to when 90% of all Quality Street tins on New Year’s Day have just toffees in them.

I wonder how much Preston would want for Ben Whiteman. One year left on his deal, solid defensive mid who’s proven at this level and Preston have always been frugal when it comes to spending so they need to sell before they can buy.

Aren't Andy Smith and Jevon Mills both right footed?

Rosenior wants two players for each position in the first team. We have two left-footed centre-halves in Greaves and Macca. If Figueiredo leaves, we definitely need another right-footed centre-half in addition to Alfie Jones. Then we’ve got the likes of Andy Smith and Mills who can be back-up in case of injuries or suspension.

You not think Smith will come back as cover if 2 of the main 3 get injured?

He needs to be given a chance in the first team squad here at some point...

I think having 5 centre-backs, Greaves, McLoughlin, Alfie Jones, new right-footed centre-back and Andy Smith is enough, actually. Jevon Mills and Alfie Taylor ideally would go out on loan.

There have been times this season where both Figueiredo and A. Jones have been unavailable and Greaves and McLoughlin have both played together. Having someone like Andy Smith there to step in at RCB would be crucial imo.

Given Taylor seems to be attracting PL academy interest then would you say Leicester and L**ds might be more attractive this year on a chunk more wedge then loaned say to a Doncaster or Peterborough type next year than say staying put and off to Grimsby?

What I'm trying to say is we can run with a squad of 23/24 and a backup of promising youth but you have to have that route in all positions to the first team.

By all means reassess in Jan but the 3 centre halves vying for the 2 shirts with Smith and Taylor challenging from below might be the best solution - at least until we've had a look at Smith and Taylor in and around pre season and there's no fitness issues with the main trio approaching the summer deadline.
