I know the internet troll in you knows no bounds, but you could literally call any game "very difficult". Apparently Spurs were going to beat us at home and get top 4, and Everton away was going to be unwinnable for us, yet we annihilated both teams. Our run in is not very difficult by any means, especially as we're on fire now Arsenal - beat them at home last season and their season is falling apart, never a better time to play them Leeds - bad team on an appalling run Brighton - will be tough but we have home advantage Leicester - we'll comfortably win Chelsea - worst team in the division right now I can't think of a much better run in tbh.
I think it's because it's LiVARpool and we expect them to win every game. If this was spurs we wouldn't be assuming they will win every game. LiVARpool showed yesterday though that they are not losing at home, if villa or brentford can sneak a draw that's the best we can hope for.
Are you assuming that newcastle will win another 2 games yes or no ? Don't you think I'm simply looking at all possibilities and assuming nothing?
It'll potentially look completely different come kick off vs arsenal.. the players then know Liverpool are right on their shoulder. I'm not even joking on this.... it's not over. They have to win games it's going to get intense.
Am I assuming we'll win at least another 2 games. I think you're on the wind up saying our run is very difficult, doom and gloom, we'll lose, Liverpool will win all their games, blah blah etc ...cos that's what you always do.
Because if Liverpool are only 3 behind with 3 to play I'd bet on them winning all 3 and newcastle bottling it . I'm not saying it's certain but I'm taking issue with people saying it's already done and trying to show how quickly it can change in 7 days. I'm then being told I'm the one assuming which is bewildering mental gymnastics.
Check the odds again if Liverpool win the next 2 and newcastle lose to Arsenal. What's likely is different to what is guaranteed.
No you didn't what you did was you ignored the 1st question and then insulted my opinion rather than accept it. The old I don't like what he's saying so I'll criticise who said it. I'm not assuming anything.
We probably will get it done by the next 3 games, but we don't need to in any way, cos the last 2 teams we're playing are dire. In fact Brighton are the only one of the 5 who look any good now. I understand things are all great right now, so you needed to predict an oncoming catastrophe, but even you must realise that we're doing this now. This one is even more desperate than when we were apparently in "freefall"....ie when we went from 3rd to 5th before getting back to 3rd.
Yes, but I don't see the benefit in analysing everything in a worst possible case scenario, being a bag of nerves, assuming every other team will suddenly find form against us, and building pessimistic permutations of all the possible remaining results and then trying to present them as a warning of likely events. I'm just busy being happy cos were awesome.
That's fine I prefer to look at possibility and actually I don't fear confronting the ones I prefer to rule out. I really hope Liverpool slip up this week and I hope it's going to be as easy as some are suggesting to get top 4 over the line. I can see a very possible shift in the next 7 days which has lead me to hold my horses because I know from experience everything will become more difficult as the pressure intensifies.
It's possible, in the sense that any results are possible, but it's massively unlikely. The way we're playing, the form were in, and the quality of the teams we're playing, I can realistically see us winning all 5 games. Which would nicely set up next season.
Its also far from impossible that arsenal beat Newcastle ... then all of a sudden every games a cup final
