That's the way I read it as well, especially when the chairman comes out with “It is vital that we remain realistic when it comes to setting budgets and utilising the best talents which are produced by our Academy, though, and that will be an important part of our strategy moving forward.”
SKP leaving 'Sheels became public knowledge about a month ago, and we were just awaiting confirmation. Maybe that's why the team haven't been very good lately, and he's been taking some stick in recent games, including abuse from some
Shorthand for. I dont really know how to coach players to make them better. I dont want to do the hard work of bringing through youth players. I can only be good if someone else has done the hard work first. I dont like being told No. I want to be the most important person here. Worked out well at Stoke - season dead weeks ago and fans love his tired old football. Some coaches dont know they are born.
Not sure if anybody on here has any connections that could help but thought it might be worth a try https://m.facebook.com/story.php?st...LxCDaH7dGEKMtNvGKl&id=691300971&sfnsn=scwspmo
He's done it at the end of the season after getting promoted. That's fair enough imo. He might have one or two offers on the table that are better opportunities for him. It's also possible that the chairman is the one who's gone back on his word and not providing anywhere near the funding required to make staying up a realistic prospect. Phillips has been coaching since 2014 and he's spent time doing his badges, then stepped into management at the bottom. He's not a Lampard or Gerrard that has had an opportunity handed to him. He's got the team promoted and now he's assessing his options. At that level, you'll have to get your timing right and pick your clubs right to climb the ladder. If South Shields failed next season, then his management career has stalled already. His next job will be a bigger one than South Shields in my opinion and he's stood by his viewpoint at the end of a season, not jumped 3 games in for something else. It's nothing like Neil.
Or according to Nixon he could be on his way to Wallsall https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/s...O32Zs3VcIW0a22LG3U9QRnSKTEOBKXG6Q6jSuVFd4Sbzc
That's tragic. Contact Chris Waters to see what safc can do, not sure about meeting the Man City players though. https://twitter.com/CWaters_SAFC?s=20
I remember bits of Dame Edna as a kid, but never seen Sir Les. That is brilliant! Both would be cancelled now!
Is Phil Parkinson the first manager in history to get his team promoted and be totally ignored by the media in the clamour to suck up to the two Yank owners. Never seen a single interview with Parkinson unless he's spoken to the Wrexham Evening News
It's appalling when the media keep pushing these 'fairy tales' down our throats ... ... Wrexham were a league club for years, now they're a league club again . Big deal.
Ofgem, (who we were led to believe were supposed to be watching out for us ), are considering allowing ( which means they will allow) the energy companies to apply a charge to our bills to cover the losses they might incur due to other customers not paying their bill. Really ?? So, if these bills would be therefore covered , they wouldn't need to chase them, so non payers get away with it? Maybe we just all cancel the direct debits then.. It's like me running up a bar tab, leaving, then the landlord asks you all to pay more per pint to cover my drinking.
