Last time I went to West Brom there was a gadgie outside the ground selling "These Colours Don't Run" SAFC bulldog t shirts for 2 quid a pop.
Only realised why they were so cheap after I bought one and it had fixtures from about 3 years previous on the back <laugh>
Last time I was there they were second bottom and dicked us 3 nowt in the Ricky sbragia era, you’ll all be glad to know I’m not there tomorrow :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Not even going and I’m up a bag of nerves looking at the table and fixtures trying to work out every possible scenario

Another huge game for safc today. Squad down to bare bones. To get a win, it's going to have to be season topper performance.

Haway.

I remember driving to Reading, who were above us, wondering how we'd cope without Stewart then Simms went off ...

... we somehow managed to batter them, had about 70% possession and restricted them to two or three decent shots.

It's West Brom's turn to have a striker out, just hope they don't 'do a Sunderland'.

The pressure is all on them so I hope we relax, get our shots off quicker and get the home crowd jumpy ... boing fkn boing <laugh>

Whole team needs to stand up and be counted against the boingers!

I personally would be making them watch the end scene of last of the mohicans to get them up for it.

let’s friggin have it lads !

Great thread as always RTB safe travels to all that’s going, it’s been a mad old season but a great one to be a Sunderland fan long may it continue.heart says win albeit hard fought head says draw, do us proud lads COME ON

Difficult game today but hopefully one we can get a result in. Be interesting to see the team sheet.

Need to try and avoid giving stupid free kicks away as they're good in the air. Might be difficult with this ref like, averages 4 cards per game, and most of his games seem to be low scoring. Not sure if that's down to the **** quality or him breaking play up constantly, blowing for free kicks.

This is the business end of the season and we've seen the lads stand up to the pressure before, Clarke seemed to thrive in it last year so hoping for a big performance today. Another whose missing who doesn't get talked about as a miss is Embleton, I'm not his biggest fan but always popped up with a goal when the chips were down.

Reactions: Robertson and RTB
Seriously tight in the race for those 2 remaining places. We've proved before that when our backs are against the wall and we have injury problems the players step up, here's hoping we can do it again. Hoping for a win but think it might be a draw

Safe journey to all the fans going.

Huge game, a win and we got to fancy our chances. Defeat n thatll be it done.

No matter what, what a season and what an experience itll be for our young players playing in a high pressured game - thats going to stand them in good stead going forward no matter what

If the worst happens and we do lose I’d love to see more of the watsons and Johnson’s next week, free hit and I’d fancy them to get a result against Watford too just through sheer enthusiasm
