BULLYING, it can cover children at school... in the workplace ... on the sports field .... in coaching sports .... any subject you like!

An instance majority get on with the job .. one or 2 always behind, lazidaxical in their approachfail to respond to request to do things in accepted way. 1 or 2 get regular verbal warnings about lack of attentitiveness whilst others get on with job . is that bullying? or is it the person at the top doing their job

Civil servants need to grow some.
Nothing wrong with rollicking someone if they've screwed up. What do they expect? A medal?

My grandson was pulled off last weekend to be told, don't mispronounce a fellow team mate's name. They were having a laugh, ffs where will it end.
The woke will takeover the world.

When I was at school in Bridgwater I had a Welsh, rugby loving, gym teacher who balled me out when I fell off the balance beam. That disgraceful fault was screamed in my ear before he noticed I had got blood on his precious gym flooring, and then he hit the roof. After almost 65 years I have seen my solicitor to start proceedings against my old school for damages and the psychological trauma I suffered from his bullying. I was told by my legal representative to get a life, suck it up and get on with it before my damaged wokeist soul disappears up my own backside. What's wrong with these powder puffs who wouldn't know real bullying if it bit them on the butt and feel like work and life should be handled kid gloves? Reality bites and if you don't like it then move on to something else for goodness sakes.

There’s a balance to be struck.
In the 1980s and 1990s the ‘old boy network’ and bullying was rife. People hit the ‘glass ceiling’ and mates would breeze up the promotion ranks.
There is a close relationship between nepotism and bullying. Those who didn’t approve of LJ had better think about what they really want before criticising Raabs situation.
Put it this way - if Raab (or any other boss) behaved out of order and you ‘put him straight’ and the system backed the boss then the system is wrong.

    Look at the Saville situation.
I’m not saying Raab is anything like Saville, but the pussyfooting around people of power is the same.

Ask yourself if you spoke to your boss using the same tone and language that they use towards you would he/she deem it acceptable?

I’m lucky in that I’ve enjoyed a great boss and management team for many years. Neither of us use inappropriate language or behaviour towards each other - we are all professionals.

That’s because I stated the obvious, of course I believe the report, I also believe all the people that complained about him. If it was a couple of isolated incidents then maybe I’d agree with you, but it’s not he’s known for it . I’m not for a minute suggesting there aren’t others, and I’m not suggesting it’s only Tories, Bercoe was a bully too, but yes I do believe the report, I knew you wouldn’t, but only because he’s a Tory, if the same allegation was against a Labour MP you’d be all over it,

totally wrong summing up I 'm afraid ... think my comments would be the same, whether any party! He is known for it due to this fiasco nothing really prior to this. In 5 month's a lot of deep searching needed to bring up the real facts or even the real moods of the time. Made my comments on some of the report elsewhere do I believe it? I cant disprove it so my position has to be it is what it is. However it does seem to have issues which lean toward one side! And Tolley is contradictary in some aspects.

The bottom line is it has opened a can of worms .. interpretation of the report takes a new form of Bullying to a lower level ...anyone wanting trouble can cause the person in charge to get iritated ... and go off saying something like 4 f***** sake what bit of dont you understand and then get reported for bullying. The system works that whether or not you have actually been a bully by saying that simply out of exasperation because the individual is unable to understand. [ and likely not up to the job ] or is bear baiting, it goes in the book .......

If you genuinely believe your view would be the same whichever party, I think you’re delusional. The complaints go back over several years and different departments, so I’d suggest to say he’s known for it a fair conclusion, all reports are contradictory to a point, otherwise they’d not be balanced. What counts is the conclusion.
I don’t agree it’s taken bullying to a lower level. Swearing at a subordinate, however frustrated you are, has never, and rightly so, been acceptable. It’s not only unacceptable it also doesn’t work. No one works to their best if they feel bullied or intimidated.
The fact that even now he doesn’t see he’s actions were unacceptable, and has tried to suggest it’s anybody’s fault other than his own, shows the report was correct he’s just arrogant,

this whole fiasco accounts for the whole time you mention ... strange reallly after 5 or 6 years all these things start to become headline news!!

you never seem to be in the majority, but thats fine life needs a minority aspect to point to the fact there is a majority

NO ONE OTHER THAN THAN THOSE involved can actually comment on what did or didnt take place .. at the very least NONE of us! can. He made a statement if even the slightest hint he would resign, he did, but didnt say he wouldnt agree with it which he has not and the other side of the story is less reported, WHY ... because its only the bad stuff sells media ... well take time to read the report.. if you have you dont fully understand some of the context especially the summing up ...
