Guys, I got rid of the poem out of deep respect for your feelings :)

Is it now safe for me to mention that your ground is not on White Hart Lane and funnily enough is roughly equidistant from both White Hart Lane and Campbell Road.....that's another potential new name for the stadium to consider maybe? :p

Seriously though. As others have said, whatever the powers decide to name it, assuming it is half sensible, it will always be known as WHL, so take the money!

The irony of it!...being lectured on N. London locality by some nobhead from Woolwich!!!...fack orf moron! <doh>

I might agree with you if it wasn't Tevez, Croydon.
He's clearly just after another pay day.

City gave him a break last season so that he could go and spend some time with his kids.
He buggered off on holiday with his girlfriend, instead.

Actuall PNP, I'm not sure that Tevez is that smart. That manipulative, scumbag agent of his certainly is, though!

Shame that the goon doesn't know the story behind WHL .... then again what can one expect from a follower of a club that played its football (sic) in a ground named after the area it played in (before yet another move) but was too ashamed of its history to carry a name that recognises the origins (dubious though they may be) of the club.

Please enlighten me great sage and supporter of the club that REALLY originated outside of London :)

On another thread you were asked the question if all gooners are as stupid as you or whether you are a one off, any chance of an answer.

Tidied that up for you :)

I think it depends a lot of the sponsor's name.

If the sponsor's name makes the new stadium sound sensible (e.g. The Mansion Stadium, if we used our old sponsor) then it wouldn't bother me, but if we were to name it the Flamin' Hot Monster Munch Arena that would be ridiculous!

Whatever it's called, it will always be White Hart Lane to me if it's on the same site.

Most Gooners know the Emirates as Ashburton Grove.
Corporate sponsors or not, the soul of a name is in the identity that the fans give it, not the money men <ok>

The Nashville Predators, an ice hockey team in the NHL, used to have to play at the Gaylord Entertainment Center.
That would even sound over the top if you made it up.

<laugh> and I thought the 'Sports Direct Area' was bad enough.
