Realistically, how many points do you tjink you will get from the final 6 games, and will it be enough? For me

Sheff Utd 0
Watford 0
Stoke 3
Rotherham 0
Huddersfield 1
Burnley 0

So, 4 points, which gives you 46, which I think might be enough, just. I think Reading will get 5 points from their remaining games. I only see QPR getting 1 point from their next 4 games, then their final home game is against us, and I see this being the decider of which of you goes down. What a day that could be.....

The way we are playing at the moment I can only see three points with draws against Stoke, Rotherham and Huddersfield. And that’s being optimistic!

I really hope I’m wrong and we can nick a win in the run in.

If we'd beaten Sunderland on Monday we'd have been in control - we lost that game badly and now it's "bricking it" time.

Never expected any return from Sheff Utd, Watford and Burnley - a single point from the nine available would be a bonus in my book. Still think we can get enough from our other three games to make it. Certainly don't want to rely on you lot that last game.

Not forgetting the old dog Warnock’s return to Cardiff plays into this.
I’d have mixed feelings if it comes to down to QPR v us on the last day with them needing a win to survive, and send you down

Today was a free hit and as said on match day thread it could so easily have been a better outcome but if we do drop down, it’s not due to todays performance rather we’re going down due to performances at home v the likes of Wigan, Blackpool, Luton, Hull, Coventry, Sunderland, Swansea etc

So it’s again having to rely on the clubs below us screwing up so let’s see where we are at 5pm:emoticon-0138-think

Every team can point to games like that though. We can point to only 3 points gained against teams like Cardiff, Reading, Huddersfield, Wigan recently, which stops us from being in the play-off mix. We really should have gotten 8 or 9 points from those games

As well as us, the 3 teams immediately above, QPR, Huddersfield and Rotherham all lost. Reading got a point but are still behind us on GD and we've got a game in hand on them all except Rotherham.

No change in the table positions then - did you really expect anything from the Blades game today?

So all in all we got nothing as expected but at least results largely went our way save Burnley & Blackpool.

So hanging onto 4th from bottom spot on gd.

Cov gone 2-0 up at QPR - they must be a real candidate for the drop.

It looks like the ageing rock star has blown it
Have to say, their run in is probably just as bad, if not worse than ours.

The "game in hand" we have could be huge. I just hope that justice is served and we win that one.

QPR do appear to be in an even worse state then we are to be honest and they must be bricking themselves over there...

Even without our game in hand, our 11 goal difference advantage over them is worth another point.

Really need results to go our way Tuesday night for a bit of insurance before our Watford trip. Blackpool and Rotherham are home to West Brom and Burnley respectively, whilst Huddersfield are away at Sunderland. Not too worried about Blackpool but a win for the other two could pull them away from us.

Whilst we're at Watford on Wednesday, our other two drop candidates are at home. QPR entertain Norwich and Reading host Luton - all clubs with something to play for. This round of midweek games could have a huge impact on that final table. If Blackpool lose, in my book they're as good as down with Wigan - then it will be one from the other five for the remaining trap door spot.

Relieved to see QPR are at Burnley next Saturday whilst I can't see Reading getting much change from Robbie's boys at Cov - our home game against "nothing to play for" Stoke on the same day looks a real opportunity but can we take it?

A big motivational job needed by Lamouchi and Bamba. Our guys looked shell shocked trudging off the pitch on Saturday.
