Nah, he's got about 7 or 8 years on you going off this thread. I'm hardly a whippersnapper (though it's all relative). Tranmere away was my first, I think in 97. Home was Leicester in 93/94.
Think I was at that Tranmere game. I think I'd probs already suffered a few relegations by then lol. That's why some of us older ones struggle to be optimistic sometimes. Not all of us but some.
My first away game was against Derby County at the Baseball Ground. About 96. Got beat 1-0, Dickie Ord was sent off.

That was the game where there was a player sent off for them but he got replaced? Lol... Then that said player defended a goal attempt from us in the dying seconds...
