Realistically the only clubs that can afford to pay that are: City - Don't really need him Newcastle - No interest from the player Chelsea - Already bought millions of players do they need another, plus they must be in breach of ffp PSG - Seemingly not interested Man U - Player doesn't seem interested. I'd question Real Madrid and Barca's ability to spend, both have well know issues with finances recently.

Ljinders wrote a book called Intensity about the 21/22 season in which he says "our identity is intensity". I think some have said that since he wrote it, all the intensity has disappeared. It's clearly his fault

Tbf I've read quite a few comments, not on here, that suggest that Ljinders has made himself look a bit silly with the timing of the book given our lack of intensity lately. For some it comes down to either coincidence or correlation.

Compare and contrast Diaz at 25 joining LFC to mane at 24 joiningg LFC, fees: both called bargains. Firmino joining LFC at age 24 for a rather eyebrow raising 29mil and contrast to gakpo arriving at 23. Didn’t need the recruitment team to do that. Everyone with an internet connection and access to google could see the age profile of squad was going to be an issue. It’s why we’ve now brought in players like gakpo Nunez diaz Jota Konate to bridge that gap. Just need to do the same with midfield
