We were on the inside mate for 50 years that’s why we voted to leave.

I think the vote to leave was a bit more nuanced personally. I think a lot of people believed what they were told. I think a lot of people were just fed up of things they felt were down to the EU but in reality were simply global trends.

It drives me mad when people blame Boris and his pals for Brexit. They campaigned based on a load of rubbish. The real guilty party in my opinion is the Remain campaign not pointing out the nonsense. The facts and evidence were there, they were just too complacent and assumed all the remainer would dutifuly go to the polls. Everybody who was on the remain side was complacent. I know people who didnt vote because they didnt believe leave could possibly win. I would be pretty confident if we did it all again the result would be reversed personally.

We may find out mate, my vote wouldn’t change and everyone I know their votes wouldn’t change either, if there had been a third option of we can go back to the way it was originally it would probably have got a 90% vote for that.

The lib dems said they would rejoin if elected. That was a disaster of a policy i seem to remember. Even Remainers saw that as undemocratic and stayed well clear of that idea. Any party who would want back in the EU would need to go through another referendum. One which i would think they would win cos more remainers or previous dont knows would get up off their arses and vote. Another referendum however would be a total embarrasment for the country, walking up to the EU cap in hand and slapped wrist? Would the EU want us back? And if they let us back would we have a seat at the top table? No, we'd be on the naughty step. I suspect it will be generations before any idea of rejoining would be acceptable for all involved. We both need to allow for the dust to settle.

I am not sure why it undemocratic really. We are allowed to re vote on the govt on a regular basis, and on our local councils. It seems to me that if you have one view at a point in time, but the passage of time shows that to be now a bad decision, it shouldnt be undemocratic to revisit it. We are coming up to 7 years since the vote and the world is very different. People who are now aged 18-25 never had a say. Maybe something that is so fundamental to their lives is worth asking them about.

I didnt vote because i was split 50-50. I think alot of people would have been in the same boat. If there was another referendum i think more folk like me would vote to rejoin. I think that in itself would tip the balance and we would be back in (if they let us). With not being sure of how we would be received by Europe by re-entering and how humiliated it would make me feel, i dont think i could vote for rejoining. So me personally i would abstain again but accept the vote outcome.

Yet you keep insisting they didn’t when we were in the EU but you say they will now, and that’s our fault?

You may well be right, but it doesn't seem like you're looking at the best situation for the country. You seem happy for the country to be in a worse position just so you can say "**** them".

There's no option to close the EU down. The options are to work with them or cut ourselves off at a cost. The latter seems like stubbornness.

Well apparently Starmer is planning to spread more lies about Sunak in the coming days. According to Labour he is not backing down over claims Sunak does not want paediphiles to go to prison. Apparently the next pack of lies is about another abbhorent crime. Who knows what victims think of this current Labour horror show. Of course he is cowering away, but according to sources he is going ahead with more.

I didnt think we would stoop so low again as when Boris accused starmer of not prosecuting Saville. It was as low as it gets. Starmer was rightly outraged. 1 year on he has matched Boris. Good work Keir, even I didnt think you were as bad as Boris. The mask had slipped. Labour are showing themselves up every day as unelectable hypocrites. Does anyone really want a PM who spouts such bile, or a party who bottoms out at the lowest ebb imaginable.

Over to those in the Labour party, who have a shred of decency, and an interest in Labour values. Are you going to come out and criticise your leader and demand better. John McDdonnell has but he has no personal gain to protect. Are the rest of you really better than the tories you have been shouting about? It appears not right now.

The ads are disgusting to be honest, and the kind of thing that puts me off politics completely. Kier Starmer not being anywhere near it is pretty cowardly and the fact that leading Labour Party MP's (I believe Yvette Cooper) were not told about it, tells me that there's still a lot of division within Labour.

They're probably not ready to lead in the way that I'd like. There's 2 problems though. 1) I genuinely believe that this Conservative government have done more damage to the country than any other in my lifetime. this country is a poorer and more cruel country now than it was before them as direct result of their actions. 2) As much as you'd like to believe otherwise, there is no credible 3rd option.

So I'm left with 2 choices. Vote for his Labour party that I have doubts about, or abstain and give this Conservative party a chance at another 4 years. I'm not flush with options, but I think a Labour vote is the most responsible option I have.

Imagine needing an enquiry for these. It is bare faced. A 10 year old could see this as lies. Maybe we should give them a vote if this is intelligence levels of the tories and labour.

The Labour party have decided to outdo the tories in horrendous politics. Should we vote for them? Not for me. Johnson was a low point, Starmer positioned himself as the decent alternative. Now it is clear he has decided being accused of being a *****phile sympathiser is absolutely fine, despite knowing it is an absolute lie, an led to him being in the firing line of idiots.

There is an old saying that we get the leaders we deserve. The fact so many labour party advocates ignore this proves to me this is true. We will deserve the labour government that are useless like the tories. In 8 years we will reelect the tories and repeat the same cycle into ****e.

I think there are a few people to blame over brexit, first Tony Blair, who should have been driving a harder bargin with the EU, ourselves and Germany should have been the major players, Gordon Brown wasn't much better, Germany were devastated when we left. Then there David Cameron, using the referendum as a way of winning votes to get him in to no10 and running as fast as he could when the vote went the wrong way, May and Boris did they really want brexit or was it just another way to win votes, we had the piss taken out of us by the EU yet had we had one PM that had the balls to go there an fight for what is fair I'm sure the majority of this country would have been more than happy to have stayed as part of it
