'' Saints have also signed striker Paul Onuachu, 28, from Genk until 2026 ''

Really ? I would never have guessed .... All the pressure pre-window closure about how a striker is needed, so when one eventually arrives. he hardly gets a look in.
I really dont get it, why cant this guy get any soer of a chance. Could of alreandy have helped the cause, and although the odds are stacking up are stacking up
against us, he still might be able to have a say . ?

I admit my footballing knowledge is not very good, but I can confidently say, that Onuachu is not the answer.

<laugh>

And SR are responsible for global warming, the Ukraine war and everything bad in the world.

They only bought us to run us into the ground and piss off all the supporters.

Of course they're not what a ridiculous thing to say. If you can't see how they're responsible for everything bad with our club though then there's a whole extra level of delusion

Mo El wasn't the answer a few years ago when we shipped him out to Jockland and Theo wasn't the answer after a few games when he came back to us but somehow they are undroppable now...It really is baffling to me.

Really? How do? We were dirt today and hoped we could shut city out. Clueless once behind.

Jones was ****, no defending that

By getting points on the board. We have been decent in a few games and poor in a couple as well, but that can be expected with our squad.

We weren't that bad today, this City team have exceptional talent across the pitch. Grealish and KDB were exceptional in the second half.

Shut up De Bruyne. What do you know? We're totally f*cking sh*t and a total embarrassment to the whole universe.

All professionals do this in interviews.

The fact is we are a laughing stock that gifts absolutely everyone points.
We are that embarrassing that if you lose to us as a manager, you get sacked before the next game

I think that like Selles, it's their first go at this, and they've made mistakes. The question is whether they learn from them, and the impact that Wilcox will have (thankfully it will mean that Ankersen takes a step back, hopefully). We're their guinea pig club. Now you can either rant and rave about the mistakes they've made, or you can hope that as things move forwards, they learn and start getting things better. Up to you, but I'm going with the latter.

Decent is a stretch. We sat on some luck more like.

He’s just as inept but a media savvy man. Doesn’t change me in the ground, I support the team

I get it. I do. After every game on here, 20 times minimum a night.

We are where we are. We can't change it. We can just look forward to a new challenge and history for us.

Opportunities are created from adversary. If it isn't for the bad times, you don't appreciate the good times, or learn.

I am happier to be in the Championship next year under SR than Gao for instance.

Oh I totally agree about both. But Onuachu doesn't play in either of their positions.

Meh whatever.

The players and manager don’t seem to give a **** about our position. Relaxed and laughing about the whole thing. Who gives a ****, they earn a fortune and will all get their next moves anyway.

I can’t believe the lack of fight/passion/bottle, anything in this team. I am staggered at how lightweight and pathetic we are.

Today I was expecting a heavy defeat and want to take the positives, but there are so few.
I will be amazed if we make it to 30 points

We have beaten Chelsea and Leicester and got good results against spurs and man united. That is at least decent.

I support the team as well but this weekend, as many this year, I am supporting my father who is recovering from a stroke.

Not embarrassing by any means, just what I expected tbh
Good first half, only two chances fell to Suli who made a mess of both, just what we expect then the Giant Viking is left all by himself in the 6yd box and boom…0-1 just before half time.
Second half, we didn’t press and didn’t work as hard and they simply picked us off with the class they have
Looking forward to the Championship where we won’t have to face teams like this

Beaten a Leicester who sit above us, a ****e Chelsea team for all the players they have. We were lucky against spurs as they sat back on a 3-1 lead.

I’m sorry about your father, hope he pulls through and improves

Even if being there is as a direct consequence of their constant mistakes? Their sheer arrogance? I get you're a glass half full guy (and seriously credit to you for that) but why do you have faith in these charlatans?
