They've got almost double the income we have, though their losses are massive, they must be running into FFP issues now.
Suspect we might cash in on Greaves if a decent offer comes in. Also depends if Rosie really fancies Oscar to lead the front line - or does he have a replacement in mind? I'd like to see Ozan stay, but not sure if he will if he is mainly being used as an impact sub.
Compare their prices for games compared to ours. Larger crowds paying more. Same with a number of other clubs. https://tickets.mfc.co.uk/en-GB/eve...-23/2023-4-19_19.45/riverside stadium?hallmap
Our commercial revenue really isn't that good yet, yes is much better then under the Allams. But that was such a low figure to start with, any increase is a big increase
Sorry was talking about Greaves. However if we could get £3 million for Tufan that’d be good business. The only reason he looks good is because the rest are just ****!
IMO it won't only be Greaves or Ozan that teams come in for come season end. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Seri moves back South, Oscar must be on some teams minds and Matt Ingram was well touted last season before signing his new contract. Doc may well be on the move and maybe even Regan Slater...
I'd have thought Slater is one of the least likely to leave of the entire squad. And we'll get way more than £3m for Greaves.
Would definitely improve us, but I think he's on approx 22/25k a week. I'm not sure I'd want us paying anywhere near that and I'm sure he'll have a host of clubs willing to take him.
