What I expect is that the United Nations should collectively condemn the illegal occupation of sovereign Palestinian land and warn the Israeli's that if they don't **** off back to their 'own country' the UN will do what they have historically done, in places like Afghanistan and Kuwait, and send in a UN 'peace keeping' force to uphold International Law...
They have lots of money to give us too... for all those planes, drones and missiles they're using to murder thousands of innocents in Yemen. Israel, Saudis, Egypt, we seem to fund enough ****s in that region and have as much blood on our hands as them.
Our government's (political parties) deafening silence over Israel's continuing illegal occupation and annexation of Palestinian lands is truly damning ... and why I detest our politicians... not a real conscience or self awareness in any of them ...just hyperbole, self-interest and mutual hypocritical back slapping ...
It's ok bro, it's not the same as Ukraine. Bcos of Egypt or something. Isn't the same as when Saddam invaded and occupied Kuwait either. Wrong day of the week that one. Isn't the same as the no fly zone protecting the Kurds. Wrong beards that time. Isn't the same as apartheid South Africa. Wrong accent. Oppression has many guises. Some are acceptable though, so we can make excuses for doing fck all about this one.
Not gonna lie, since this thread was bumped I've looked in and read here and there and reached the conclusion I genuinely couldn't give a flying **** about Israel. We should keep our beak out of other counties affairs as well, instead of deciding who we're going to chip and save, or not. Anyway, cheers, just though I'd say.
Lol... Again not going to make Kuwait as the major bad guy here, Iraq was far more in the wrong... but people often ignore the fact that Kuwait was stealing oil from Iraq. Didn't deserve an invasion, but Kuwait were no innocent little lambs themselves.
