Chavtowns: They base their Top 10 on ‘most commented places’.

Which makes it the most invalid ‘top 10’ list EVER!
So, if we comment on Windsor 10,000 times, it’ll be the no.1 worst place to live?

Hull was the second most bombed city in WW2, didn't get any funding to rebuild and hasn't had billions of ERDF funding pumped into it like many other cities in the UK have, yet we're still no better or worse than many of those other cities, so what's Leicester's excuse?

ps to everyone else saying that Hull or Leicester are to worst places to live - you're all wrong. I've lived in Stoke and that officially is the worst place to live (sorry Febbos if you're reading)

I think we have found something here that we can all agree on......Stoke IS the biggest ****hole in the country!

Actually, having spent 2 years living in Halifax, that gets my vote for the biggest **** hole in the U.K. Proof if proof were needed that man is descended from apes. I also lived in Billingham for 3 years and that has to be up there too, its just a massive ICI factory surrounded by slummy 1950's housing. I also skirted with Bolton, Southampton, Wolverampton, Liverpool, Peterborough, Carlisle and Wrexham. Called me biased if you will, but having left Hull and returned, i wouldnt want to live anywhere else.

The most disappinting town I have been to was Bangor Maine, after hearing Roger Millers song King of the road, I went and what a dump that place is.

Most of Stephen Kings novels are based around there - what did you expect

Can you all please stop agreeing with each other and get back to bickering and being nasty to each other? All this bonhomie is making me feel weird.

Have you been to Belfast? Parts of that are pretty ****ty.

I used to be a regular visitor to Belfast during the troubles(early 80's) and I loved the place, there's obviously some seriously bad areas, but overall I think it's a great place.

They know how to have to a business meeting there, each trip was normally three hours work, followed by five hours in the pub. <cheers>

I work on the outskirts of Luton and my uncle (bless him he's gone now) used to own what was the Spar shop on Station Road in Earl Shilton (my cousin now lives in Barwell) ... feeling slightly victimised!
