Read a humorously inaccurate article about us in the New York Times today. Does its best to be complimentary but made our fans seem a bit like cavemen with no real grasp of what goes on outside the city of Newcastle <laugh>. Referred to us as 'Durham folk', but the funniest bit was that it said we were the only football team in the north east and our isolation makes us the proudest. Up yours mackems.

So now we have been in the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, looks like we are growing in America. Now that Ashley is looking for a stadium and shirt sponsor is would be interesting if it was an American sponsor.

I have no idea why, but such comments from an American Paper is annoying the **** out of me. Usually I'd laugh at their ridiculously low grasp of how the rest of the world lives, but this, these statements are just beyond stupid, even for them.
