If you can't win against a team as poor as Reading today there's nothing to feel positive about. Saying they were the better team counts as nothing. Something needs to change soon. Less of the gab, let's see some action.
I dont want to hear the ****e thats going to come out off his mouth post match. He's a talker, not a doer, we all have seen them where we work. If this team are buying into his philosophies, god help us... PROCESS... PERFORMANCE, NOT THE RESULT... they're all ****e Rosenior... And if its accepted that we're safe and its about next season, get some of these young lads who;d run through a wall for a game on the pitch...lets see if they offer something different. My nan was from Hull too....
I guess the point I'm making is that Allahyar doesn't even do that. Against Coventry Malcom was through on goal a couple of times, his end product was gash, but at least he was in that position. The thing is as well, if Malcom is crap he goes back to Palace and we forget about him, but we paid millions for Allahyar and have a 50% sell on clause to Fenerbahce and I can't see why. I really like his character, he puts himself about a lot, has passion and pace but that hasn't really done much for us results wise and at the end of the day that's what matters
These are not his players the summer recruitment was a ****ing shambles. Shota had us heading for League 1 under LR we will stay up comfortably. The problem is some idiots thought after the QPR & Cardiff games we was heading for the play offs. We need some pace in the side we are so slow not surprised with this bunch it’s possession football they are not capable of getting up and down the pitch.
Any point away from home is a decent point, in our current state there's nobody in this division we should assume we should turn up and beat. Would you be confident that we'll beat Rotherham? And by the same token, did you expect us to get three points against WBA? Until every player in our team is of a high quality, we shouldn't have the expectation that certain fixtures are three points in the bag. In League One, yeah because we had the strongest squad and some of the teams in there could change places with the top end of the National League, but we've been in the Championship enough seasons to know that we can go to places like Sheff U, Palace, WBA etc and get results and in the next week lose to teams like Colchester, Wigan and Rotherham. Our primary aim now should be to work on the shape, get fitness into the lads and treat this as the start of pre season, analysing what areas we need to strengthen (if we haven't already), who can go and who can stay. The further up the league we finish, the better, but with 9 games to go and the teams below us looking utterly hopeless, we're not going down or up.
If you're of the opinion that was a foul you need to up your Timolol dosage. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine
And someone should take him aside and show him how to make a tackle without fouling. Lost count of the amount of promising situations that break down by him giving away a free kick.
Agree, we’ve only had 25 in and 23 out the door this season. We won’t see much of a turnaround until the majority of the squad has been overhauled.
Didn’t watch the game as I was busy today but sounds like we couldn’t beat a piss-poor Reading team. Rosyball seems to have tightened our defence but going forward we look marginally worse or the same as under Shota.
on face value I don’t think that’s a good point after watching the game but can understand your point. I hope we have some quality coming in soon because regardless of what people think a lot of that side is sub standard.
So is your argument that every team in say the top 6 has quality in every position. Lets just focus on a couple ... LUTON.... are you honestly telling me they are where they are due to personnel or is it the way they are set up etc. And without looking it up, can you tell me one quality player Luton have. Lets attribute the same two questions to MILLWALL (you can have Honeyman as a free hit).... then BLACKBURN ... (you can have Cameron Diaz as a free hit)....
I have to admit that at the time of these fixture time changes(Sunderland,Blackburn),I was absolutely fizzing.I had planned to go and add my support to the large following we have away from home. In the cold light of day and after watching yet another clueless attempt at us trying to play Football and put away a team in dire form I'm fairly relieved that I'm not going!! Blame the Ref,blame Andy Carroll for using his frame, blame injuries...But FFS have a think about the unforced errors and lack of effort that accompanies the pre-mentioned.
Listening to Rosie he implied Christine's op is more about clearing up a long term problem ahead of preseason - sounds like he's been managing a niggle to play. Definitely has a feel of preparation for next year about things between now and the end of the season.
According to LR we were excellent, controlled the game wonderfully... and then and I'm sorry .... but at 2:45 "we talk all the time about NOT putting the referees under pressure and doing things the right way".... he then says, we should have had 3 penalties but he's not blaming the referee for not giving them !!!.... he's a talker I just hope that Acuns belief in him comes true...
Rosie has to get the squad set up for next season, the up-coming pre-season and he needs to sort out the out of contract players. Burnsey' pushed Rosie on this during his post match interview and he said it would be decided at the end of the season. Rosie really bigged up Coyle today - he played through the pain of midweek injury after having a pain killing injection. If we want to have a top ten team next season, then Rosie has some difficult choices to make regarding the players.
