****ing dire. We have players to do far better than this, both in terms of results and football that's at least worth watching. Weeks keep passing by and I remain unconvinced by Rosemior.. Talks a good talk but.
It will be interesting to see the team after the international break, I heard an interview with Rosie this week, and he said he going to treat the break as another mini pre-season. I hope the players buy into that.
it is far and away not a decent point Toasty, they are absolutely terrible and we was unbelievably toothless.
Strange one, we didn't really play well and it was lacklustre. However, our shape in the final third was much better and for a large part of the game we were more patient in trying to get in to more dangerous positions instead of the usual hopeful crosses. The poor crosses did creep back in late in the game, as someone pointed out, when Oscar went off ha.
Not the best game, but minutes into some returning players, we certainly bossed the 2nd half without really creating much. That looked like a penalty when Pelkas was at the back post. The ref is awful, shouldn't be officiating at this level.
I disagree, at least Malcom actually beat players and carried the ball well at times. yes he's frustrating sometimes, but there's clearly something there. What did Allahyar do all game? Scuffed a chance 30 seconds in? then what? I really want him to succeed, but I've yet to really see him do much.
Completely agree, it's alright. I think there's an expectation from the fanbase that we'll improve drastically overnight but the current group is doing pretty well. We don't create enough, we don't score enough, but that's been the same issue for the past couple of seasons. This group isn't going to change that
all we can hope for is there is a big clear out in the summer & Rosenior brings in the players he actually wants he's inherited a squad that was thrown together last summer with no thought on how they would actually perform as a team & it shows if Acun intends to stick with LR then he has to break up this team & give him the money to put a promotion winning team together what he has now has no chance of ever getting out of this division
Jeeeez...Rosenior is learning the trade on the job and people expect miracles! Wind in those expectations and get behind a manager who clearly knows a thing or two and will keep learning.
That's where I disagree, Malcolm has no end product at all. He loses the ball in key areas from overplaying, is often sloppy on the ball and is a defensive liability. He does take a man on well at times but when he does his crossing is crap.
I think we do get behind the manager and the team. Doesn't mean we cannot discuss what we see as areas requiring improvement.
