I guess his thinking is that the best time to do this is at when the team's morale is at it's highest point in his era, and the fact that the int'l break means that people (in an ideal world) won't be as angry after 3/4 weeks without a home game?

I mean, with the team doing so well, would people consider boycotting? I guess his thinking is that it won't affect attendances as much as the start of the season.
 
It's a stupid thing to do, but it'd be even more stupid for fans to help sabotage the team by boycotting or whatever.

Who really cares what the place is called?

Also, he'll have to change it back by May/June for the olympics as they're not allowed advertising in stadiums or something like that.
 
Lets face it, this was always going to happen. He's effectively got it called that now. It's not like he can get many more sports direct logos splattered about the place. I'm not happy about this like but could see it coming.
