Just maybe a question for RTB….after O9 little getting into with their player and kissgate…I thought he may get a red card..so has anybody ever been sent off for kissing another player?

Absolutely mate. Ekwah struggled today but we really need to remember these kids have barely played regular first team football they need games and that’s what this season is about I would have sent Michut back after his first few game now he looks like we could build a team around him. The future is bright
The key bit is that we are better next season. You have to assume these lads will learn from the 30-odd games they've played this year. The likes of Bennette and Ekwah have a lot of developing to do, but maybe they go out on loan next season and we bring Matete and Diamond back in to the squad. Maybe that's the model - some lads can drop straight in, others benefit from a year in and around the squad. Look at the night and day difference in Trai Hume since 12 months ago

Trai Hume is very good player. Stands out most weeks and I think got a much older players head on his shoulders had to Google his age cause I was doubting he was young as I thought. Only 20 years old aswell, some very good young talent we have like. Take that and getting the odd thumping over watching a team of seasoned plodders!

No idea if anyone has gotten a red for it but it would be harsh, no violence in it just a complete wind up so yellow at most. But one thing that was clear is the kiss was the reason the other lad got away with grabbing him around the throat, should the wind up give you a pass for a violent reaction? Not usually but the ref was giving them fouls when lads tripped over fresh air so hardly suprising.

Andy Morrison (Plymojth, Man CIty, Blackpool) once got sent off for licking Stan Collymore. It was a 2nd booking though, so not technically sent off for the lick

GreT reaction from the team & management, some players looked back on form and hopefully that’s the blip over with. I thought Bath & Hume were brilliant and special mention to Gerhardt he done really well, I’m pleased for the lad after a difficult start to his time here

Pity he didn't roll that chance in....should have... and it's going to put a bit more pressure on him now.

It todays climate, if it happened in the street, forcibly kissing someone without any suggestion of a warning, he could be done for sexual assault.

Been reading one of the Norwich forums match thread....even they were embarrassed about their players diving, and the ref giving everything to them.
Something a few on there mention, and I totally agree with, is that the better side won. <cheers>

There are some good comments on there.
This one was amusing:
'Patrick Roberts looks well up for it.'

"We were Premier League when he failed to break into our side, completely different level of football, he'll never be Premier League."

A bit odd as I didn't think that any of their team looked better than Roberts. <laugh>

They also have a thread about the Norwich lad who collapsed and was helped by a Sunderland fan and are trying to get the club to invite them both back for some kind of reunion.

I'm over the moon with our performance and the result on Sunday.I was expecting to lose a very difficult match. But,for me,it serves to highlight what a talented bunch of players we have and confirms the great job TM is doing wth them.
I've no doubt Amad will go back to Man U and Gelhardt to Leeds, but if we can tie Stewart down, secure our option on Michut, and get our injured players back,we can have the platform to have a really top season next year.

I never thought we'd lose that unless one of their shameless dives was in the box. All I heard, this week, is about Norwich and their stylish football but it was just a series of long diagonals and crosses into the box. I honestly can't remember one move that impressed me.

Our goal was one of the few moments of quality imo.
I listen to a Norwich fan on the great podcast with Graeme Falk (what the falk) and the Norwich fan on there was so upbeat and that they were going to do a real job on Sunderland. Now I know what happens when you start to think that the good-time are back at your club.... When the full-time whistle went I thought of him <laugh>

Exactly marra, thought Wagner was the same in his pre match interview, came over as overly confident and arrogant

Big summer ahead for KLD and Speakmann. What are their immediate ambitions and have they learned from the mistakes of this season?
We absolutely cannot leave ourselves short in attack again - whilst I've been largely supportive of the model, and we have had some rotten luck, we need more contingency planning - I want to see at least 2 permanent strikers signed as well as a couple of youngsters who can step up in emergencies if needed (worked out ok for Man Utd and Rashford back in 2016)

I expect we will lose a couple of players - maybe Ballard and one other in addition to Amad. It's all about how we replace them. I think the younger players will be better with another year's experience behind them and I would hope for a better season than this. It's essential we have options up front throughout the season

What happens if they can’t get the strikers they want, are you happy to have the dross some of the other lads want on here?
