I don't like Baz's reporting that it should be considered a positive. We're still losing talent for a fraction of what they could develop into.

How good is the lad? It just seems odd that he's not playing way above his age group as you usually see with decent prospects at City.

I'm sure Keano was playing for the 23s when he was 16, and I seem to remember Max Clark being extremely young too.

He's very good, but it's very different for keepers when it comes to playing above their age etc ( he has played for the 18s I think this season )

This lad probably wouldn't have seen our first team for 7/8yrs.

As for the reporting... OLM probably has it spot on re the reasons it's worded as it is.

The use of the word Championship in the title is obviously not for our benefit, it's being used as a tag word to try and get the article seen more widely. It's all about algorithms nowadays, just small adjustments to titles of web listings and articles can massively increase the amount of people who view them.

Is it working? What's the target - another inch or two?

So FC and Rovers will be referred to as Super League FC and Rovers now, will they?,If we sign a play from Derby County will their Reach publication say that Hull City have signed a player from League One Club Derby County?

According to that Reach must thing rugby league is bigger than football and attracts more attention given they have a daily blog about rugby league in general and more articles about the rugby league clubs than the football one.

There really are. Especially weird obsessives who continue to reply to/refer to you after literal years since the last time you engaged with them. Sad people really.

It is a forum, you weirdo. Of course some types like you like to live in an echo chamber and cannot bear to be contradicted and just refuse to engage with people who disagree with them. What is weird is you always manage to read posts people address to me and then like them if they have a pop. How weirdly obsessive.

Reach will quite obviously not think rugby league is bigger than football, but Hull Live have more rugby league followers on their social media platforms than City ones, which probably explains their output.

You’ll be saying SEO next. Something else our
Brid friend can have an odd rant about!

That will be because a lot of City fans don’t bother with the HDM due to its RL bias. They had more RL stuff than City when our crowds were larger than the two rugby clubs put together.
Which social media platforms do you mean? Are the separate to the website or something different? The comments on RL articles seem to be the same dozen or so engaged in “banter”.

I mean Twitter and Facebook, as the number of followers are visible, we've no way of knowing how many readers each article on their website gets.
