To be fair, I think they've had the same goal music for decades. To me theirs is the only acceptable goal music, simply because I remember it being the same song since I was a kid hearing it in the background on MOTD.
He's won with them at The Circle three times now I think. Was in my year at school, really weird watching a lad you know repeatedly get the better of your team at your ground.
Is it that On The Ball City thing? Supposedly the oldest football chant still used? Can’t say I have ever noticed it.
No I haven't heard that one either. The one they've used for goal music for years is called Samba de Janeiro. I think the tune is pretty well known but I had to Google for the name of it.
Unless Rosenior can get the team playing with a bit of pace we'll struggle. I'd give Ebiowei another start, he's shown he can beat a man and get to the byline to put a cross in, hopefully he's learnt a bit about tracking back and working for the ball after last week. Will Traore start? Don't know but I thought he looked tidy last week albeit ring-rusty. We've got a fairly unsettled side with the injuries, it never helps. UTT!
They use On The Ball City before the match in the sort of stand introduction we used to do. Or they used to, don’t know if they still do.
Bruce was really poor at developing young talent. We had Townsend and Carney in the squad when we first went up under him and binned them off for peanuts. We could've sold them for a fortune
Somehow that doesn't bother me the same. It's like the band things are totally unnecessary. After one use for a few minutes or so, most if not all will go straight to landfill. It's plain stupid, wasteful, bad. At least there is purpose to those flights - a holiday, a business trip, whatever.
We couldn’t get a fortune for Townsend if he never got a game and he had Andy Robertson and Josh Tymon ahead of him at the time.
Instead of wasting money on light shows and wrist bands why don't we hire a first class fitness and conditioning coach to keep our highly payed players fit.
