So 2-0 everton
2-0 newcastle
0-0 palace
2-0 wolves

4 clean sheets on the bounce in the league.

Albeit against teams not known for scoring. United will be a tougher game but can only be a confidence boost.
If we hadn’t conceded 5 against Madrid
Can see us winning by two in madrid

I think only five shots on target against us in the first three games and one again tonight? So 1.5 shots on target per game against us over four games.

I expect that to go up against Utd though.

We've struggled to score too so maybe a subtle shift in tactics

no I genuinely think its negativity and fear in passing.

the debacle v palace was a shocker and today for 60mins alisson has most passes for us imo.

that says too many abdicating responsibility to take a risk.

keeping nunez fit though... massive for us.

Or after everyone moaned we were too open and gung ho klopps changed slightly to solidify things and as such having a bit more calm and patience to keep it tighter at the back.

passing back is not safe. its negative.

you don't need to pile every player bar two forward and you certainly don't need to pass back to the gk so much either.

Darwin's goal should have stood. Didn't matter in the end, two more great goals. I can get used to this winning malarkey, feels really good.

And, as I said at the time, if VAR rules it out, VAR should give a penalty for the foul on Jota
