Return to Leicester City

On November 8 2011, Nigel Pearson agreed to take up his old post at Leicester City. A compensation package believed to be in the region of 2 million pounds for Pearson, Shakespeare and Walsh was agreed between the two clubs. In a statement on the Leicester City website, Pearson said: "I can't tell you how happy I am to be back at Leicester, it was bloody terrible at Hull. Have you ever been there? To put it simply, the place is a dump. Also attempting to manage 'football players' such as Dele Adebola was making me lose the will to live. I've missed the fans, I've missed the club, I've missed the players, but most of all I've missed Ian Stringer. What a journo. I've missed his insightful and probing questioning and his twitter updates were the highlight of my day if truth be told. I've agreed to come back because I've been promised ten trillion pounds to spend on players, which I will use immediately to bring back Martyn Waghorn, Matty Fryatt and Jack Hobbs - which should see most of our budget depleted. Also, Top said that he can sort me out with a pre-order of Modern Warfare 3 - they're all sold out at Gamestation in Hull. That was the clincher."

People in glass houses should not throw stones, he hasn't signed for you yet and if he doesn't you are all going to look pretty stupid.

do you think you will get martin---or maybe roy keane

I have only ever said that he has been turned by money and because of that how can anyone who professes to be a professional footballer ever take him seriously again. He certainly could not install loyalty into any of the youngsters but with the mercenaries that you have no one could instil any sense of loyalty into them as they are only there for the money.

Money, and the lure of a real football club he never wanted to leave in the first place. <ok>
