This playing out from the back is ****e, it’s not working because our players aren’t good enough, the sooner someone tells Rosey the better

Poor stuff all across the pitch, no issues with the handball but was it in the area? Don't know. Lost count of the number of times we lost ball in one on ones in midfield, Doc especially. The team looked half knackered from the off, Christie has definitely gone off the boil. Hard to see where any improvement might come from.

    Turgid.

Defending ok but just don't look like scoring.

    Really missing Seri and Connolly.

If we tried moving the ball quicker we might do better but it seems we are coached on possession possession at any pace it’s like watching a Bruce team . We missed Pelkas movement but we were bullied again this happens all the time . If you can’t compete physically then at least try to pass them off the park - pass and move . Every time they went down the wings they had fast back up and follow up . If we went we had to turn back and play a ball back if square - then they were back . They were NOT a good side .

Deserved win for Bristol City in what I think most knew would be a difficult game, at least we hung in there and could have potentially snatched something with Tetteh off the post. We look like a solid mid table team now, just need to improve the attacking threat but I think it will only be consistently better when we have upgraded in a few areas.

Not a good watch … on here. The game wasn’t much better.

Lost 1-0 to a form team via an iffy penalty. I’m over it already.

    We move on.

"He's crap" isn't an observation, not least because it's not true but mostly because it's just an immature, emotional overreaction to a poor performance. When he was scoring said glut of goals, people weren't calling him crap, they were noting how good he was in the air and how he was getting into the right positions. Now he goes on a stretch of not scoring, like all strikers do and suddenly, he's ****. The binary attitude of fans annoys me, it's like there's no room for nuance or explanation, it always has to be either **** or good.

Players have bad days or go through patches of being out of form, but have we gone that far backwards that we need a replacement every few games if the current person isn't delivering immediate results? No wonder managers never last, there were boos last week from some maniacs, I imagine there'll be some on here already working out who they want to see take training on Monday.

It's a long term project that will take a season or two to come together. The improvement we've seen and the climb up the table has been excellent, but that doesn't mean we're suddenly going to surge up the table. We'll see more quality come in to replace what's here now and that'll strengthen us. People just need to be more patient and grounded instead of living in a "we're going up! No wait, relegation, no wait, play offs, no wait, definitely going down, ah mid table" world.

Looked a level above technically, like most of the foreign signings. Bigger than I thought he’d be too

Tetteh has yet to score or look like scoring until he missed a free header in the 6 yard box just 30 mins ago

Stark reality, LR has improved the defensive side, but the creativity either isn't there or isn't being allowed to flourish. We have to remember when he took over we were shipping goals for fun, he's addressed that and made us more difficult to beat but been hamstrung by injuries to the flair players. We are what we are currently, a very average Championship team, and until we get those flair players back and firing on all cylinders we won't change. We miss Seri hugely, Oscar seems to be going through a crisis of confidence at present, Pelkas, Traore, Ally, and Tetteh have been injured ir working their way back from injury for what seems like forever. So for now, I'm prepared to give the benefit of any doubt to LR. Today was always going to be difficult, we lost to a penalty, we need to remember that when cursing the players out there and LR.

Dont understand why LR took Tufan off at half time. He was playing ok and was a creative link up front. Should have taken off Ebowei off instead of Tufan and brought on Tetteh and gone 4 4 2 at half time.

Is this the 3rd time Pelkas has been injured this season? We need more fit players, we can't carry too many like this season as you end up having players who are off the pace in games.

We are more solid defensively, but we also have been playing some teams who aren't that good at scoring like QPR, Cardiff and Preston. There needs to be more balance with an ability to attack quicker.

The only time we moved it forward quickly was when we went a goal down (to the point blank hit of the arm). Before that lots of tapping it about while the other team looks more incisive as usual.

Referee 1 Hull City 0. Not a great game but Bristol would never have scored if the ref hadn't pointed to the spot. It was very, very debatable if the 'hand ball' was in the area at all, but the ref had no hesitation. Proper homer decision. City were better after that and Tetteh's header against the post was unlucky. It was was a nailed on 0-0 if for not for the referee's infereance. Saw Nigel Pearson doing a little dance when the penalty was awarded, he knew it was his lucky day.

Even when he was scoring you could see he wasn’t a good footballer, he had a little purple patch at the start of the season and scored 7 in 4 games. Just call it how it is. We need better if we want to be a prem team, simple as that.
