I don't agree with the quoted post, but if you gave some of the chances he's not taken and the through balls he's not had the pace to get on the end of, to someone else, who's to say they wouldn't have even more goals.
Oh well, a bottom of the pile team to a mid-tableish team has to be applauded I suppose. The frustrating part is that our first thought is to go backwards 8 times out of 10.
We certainly aren’t improving week by week. Seem devoid of any ideas. First touch seems to have deserted every player today. Tetteh must start next week.
We have improved since Rosie took over but we seem to have stalled now and have very little going forward. Whether that's down to tactics and selection or just we really aren't very good.
We've improved defensively but we've gone backwards in terms of attacking play. Once again, no sign of improvement, tactics, ideas etc going forward. Doubts remain.
Not good enough today. Too many players not controlling the ball and losing out physically. A few changes needed for next season.
That doesn't mean he's immune from criticism though. If you take away the glut of goals he scored at the start of the seaso, his return isn't great
He’s a goal-poacher. He gets into good positions for the most part but his first touch and finishing leaves a lot to be desired. I think on balance Abel Hernández was the more technically-gifted of the two and a more complete forward. Doesn’t make Óscar ****e though.
Initially huffed and puffed, lacked quality in the middle and cutting edge upfront, they had more desire to win as well
