Good watching his interview on Facebook. He's quite direct about wanting to see the ball played forward quicker, and taking nothing but 100% from the players.

Thanks for that link Dave.

A lot of positives from that interview with a genuine passion to do well. Also interesting to hear that his no.2 Dobson is a former season ticket holder, two club loyalists which is better than we could have hoped for.

I'm slightly excited at the prospect of Wild Thing back at Loftus Road.

Gareth Ainsworth's blue & white army!!!

Welcome home Gareth <cheers>
As said previous he was a great servant at the club and was terrific to watch in his day.

Great to see long hair has made it back too :1980_boogie_down:

He’s here. I’m looking forward to it.
I’m on his side. Time for the players to buck up and get playing.

Love to see Shaun Derry come in with the coaching staff to work with our defence. He’ll take no prisoners either and even maybe help with some leadership issues at the back. Win Win.

Wild thing is back!! :emoticon-0137-clapp :emoticon-0165-muscl
I absolutely agree, best of luck to Gareth and his backroom staff.

WLS: “Richard Dobson, his assistant at Wycombe, is moving to Loftus Road with him. So too is analyst Josh Hart.”
Oh dear what’s happening to our current analyst? :emoticon-0138-think :emoticon-0128-hi:

Our current analyst jumped ship a week or so ago and went to West Ham... no I can't believe our analyst could ever get another job after the obvious lack of opposition analysis that we have...but apparently we were without an analyst.

Really looked as though Critchley reign was falling apart.

"Former Queens Park Rangers performance analyst Bartosz Andryszak has announced he has moved across London to join West Ham United's coaching staff. Andryszak joins after more than a decade at Loftus Road.....6 days ago"

This is a new start...let's gets some wins under our belt...starting Saturday

Clive's synopsis is right on..we are up s*** creek without a paddle. But Gareths interview made me smile and gave me hope.

I will freely admit I didn't want Gareth appointed, a mixture of fear for him and his legendhood (!) and a desire to go back to the heights of Warburton reign.

But, being easily swayed, I am now excited by Gareths interview. I hope he can convince the rabble we once called our team to knuckle down and get the required points. You Rrrrs

Can't quite get over 11 years at Wycombe and Ainsworth never spent a single penny on transfer fees. That's incredible. No wonder the board wanted him!!!

It is extremely impressive, bordering on the unbelievable!

I also really enjoyed the interview.

I do not know what to expect, but I really wish him well.

I am sure that LR will be ROCKING on Saturday. It is ironical, possibly even fate, that we will be facing Blackburn his boyhood club in his first game.

I'm hoping he has a strong knowledge of the lower leagues and players he thinks may have a bright future.
I'm sure he does. If what has been said is true and that he hasn't spent any money at all for god knows how many years it makes even more impressive their performance over the last 5-6 years. Hopefully that skill will continue as he looks for better quality players who will command a decent fee. That's the main area where Warnock failed when he was eventually given the key to the coffers in that last week of the transfer window. Didn't have enough experience of judging the true value of tried and trusted Premier League donkeys
