He had a 3 and a half year contract. Will he get paid off? Cracking little earner.

He hasn't won since his first game in charge. Those making the decision have the inside knowledge on what things actually look like behind the scenes and can make a far more informed decision.

If Mowbray had come in and done the same as Critchley, I'm not sure there would be any Sunderland fans asking for him to be given more time.

They've made a mistake and appointed the wrong man, owned up to it and attempted to correct the situation before it gets any worse.

Twelve games is no time at all, but he has been a disaster.

Critchley was a popular fan choice whereas Mowbray wasn't ...

    ... perhaps there's a lesson there.

I'd imagine they'll go for Ainsworth and his scintillating style ...

... great football and a wardrobe to match, it's back to the Sixties at Loftus Road <laugh>

Yep. Listen to fans too much and a club has no chance.

I quite like and admire Ainsworth if I am honest. 10 years at Wycombe and overall has done a very good job. League 2 to a very decent league 1 side. Brief foray into the championship was some achievememt I think. He is one of those that gets the best out of what he has got. I could see him doing well at QPR and he is likely to adopt a different style of play in time I think. Sooner a manager like him that has earned the right to manage at a club like QPR than some ex prem player getting a leg up in the game.

He has certainly earned the right. Wycombe over achieve every year, and if Ainsworth leaves, I expect they will pretty quickly feel the pull of gravity.

I think he's a target because of things he can't complain about. His very physical, hoof ball approach and his ludicrous appearance. He is also a bit of a gabblemouth, though in fairness to him gave a very gracious interview moments after the play off final, when it would have been easy to go on about ifs and buts.

He knew they were well beaten on the day,his pre-match rhetoric was wasted and, credit to him,he didn't try to camoflage it.

I really think Ainsworth will be found out at QPR ...

... his one dimensional football won't work in the Championship as he found out with Wycombe.

    WTF is this?
This went well....they then lost 6 -1 to Blackpool.
Dunno what's worse: this or Graysons flipchart presentation.

There's something desperate and truly pathetic, in the true sense of the word, with this kind of thing. Ainsworth obviously believes he's innovative, modern and smart but it's so hopelessly 'sixth form start of term presentation ' and something guaranteed to have the players muttering 'tosser' as they trudged out. Just like his 'style' it belongs in the seventies but, by allowing everyone to witness it, he obviously believes it shows him as a visionary.

I know some people admired him for his 'kind words' after Wycombe's play off disaster but, in my opinion, it clouded an absolutely dismal display by his team. If this stunt is the kind of 'management' he employs it's no surprise his players looked so lacklustre.

QPR have clutched a straw man here and it simply won't work ...

... I dreaded this charlatan ever coming here, thankfully this shyte-show guarantees he'll never get the chance.
