I have to be honest and say the interviewer was a bit poor in my opinion. Use the word grim and you are going to antagonise. Hardly professional journalism in my opinion, and hardly a professional response. Maybe the journo wanted his hour of internet fame. One of those tasteless episodes that in my oponion doesnt help as all .
The lad asked Ince pertinent questions questions that other journalist in attendance failed to do.. He had every right to ask him about time wasting, then Reading being the worst team seen up here since league 1 and then observed that Inces team sped up once they went behind. More over he was applauded for doing so by the press contingent in Reading. He carried out his job as a journalist, very rare in that breed nowadays.

I agree that the wording grim was a bit antagonistic and he probably could have worded it a bit better, but it is ****ing grim to see a team time waste from kick off. Personally I think the worst part of the interview from Jeff's point is he let's Ince put him on the back foot a bit and doesn't seem as confident in what he is saying once Ince starts.

Shouldn't have mentioned neutrals should have said do you believe Reading fans are happy spending their hard earned money travelling all way to watch that? Cause it felt grim for me watching it and I'm paid to be here!

The minute he heads that ball, should be booked and time added.

He attempts to blame it on the steward like he launched the ball at his head the ****ing bellend.

Quick edit, watching again I think he might ha d been booked cause the fans who thought it was hilarious started shouting **** off and booing and the keeper had a reaction onwards someoneone out of the picture when he gets back on the pitch.

Krul was the worst I’ve seen to this day. Wasted time for the entire game at Sunderland this season. Got booked by the ref in the 88th minute or something, then proceeded to launch the ball at the ref. Which, in itself, is a red card offence, let alone a second yellow. Ref just allows it and says “%hey ho”

Reading had 37% of the play at Cardiff, who've been dreadful and haven't won at home since October last year.

They didn't have asingle attempt on goal but it's everyone's fault but his <laugh>

"It was a blatant red card in the first half [for Mark McGuinness' foul] and that would have changed the game but the referee has bottled it.

"There has to be VAR in the Championship because if this was the Premier League that would always be a red card.

"The referee has made a massive mistake tonight and I've seen enough of those from our players.

"We have to also look at ourselves because we were poor from the first minute to the 95th, we looked tired, out-of-sorts and I was dumbfounded by some of their decisions."

It sounds to me like he doesnt see eye to eye with his players and a few of them have double crossed him.

Is that a parody account? Surely that's not real?

It's a real account, mate. looks to be their equivalent of Rocket Rapport or Wise Men Say. Reading the comments further down a lot of their fans aren't happy with him or the tactics and style if play he's putting out. One commented that Ince says the players can't play the way he wants them to, but he's got them playing a negative style that they can't play either. They haven't used the word "grim" yet, but a fair few similar ones!

Openly criticising his 'inferior' players who are in because of injury is stupid and doomed to failure ...

... he's a poor man manager and has a ridiculously whining tone in his voice.

It's like he's impersonating a spoiled teenager.

Aye, I read them comments and it sounds like their local journalist is being a bit more probing with his questioning on tactics etc... wonder if Mr Brown gave them a bit of confidence <laugh>

Aye, saying his players aren't good enough to play the way he wants to play is pathetic passing the buck bullshit! Will not help his players with confidence and will finish off any team spirit, unless they all band together in their dislike of the manager.

It's a manager getting his excuses in early again, like Moyes and his we are in a relegation battle after a couple of games!

A good manager would look at his players strengths and find a style that gets the best out if them. It’s ludicrous to call yourself a manager and insist that your players play a way that you know they’re not capable of.
