Bournemouth vs Newcastle

Im really concerned about this. Our recruitment has been low numbers, yet we’ve had two competitions only this season and look absolutely spent already.

 

Because we play the same players over and over again on a high intensity tactic

 

No surprise that we’ve drawn so many when we’ve had to play slower in recent weeks.

 

Terrific reception for Eddie today by the Cherries fans. I was in with them and there was a young lad crying next to me when they were singing for him at the end of the game lol

Just looked at the table and we are 5 points behind manure in 3rd place with a game in hand and people are complaining

Prior to yesterday's gsne I think we played 12 games in 7 weeks since the cup game against Bournemouth - given the general inability to rotate the squad due to injuries and lack of quality etc, fatigue was always going to be a factor

Hopefully now we're back to 1 game a week and a few injuries clearing up things will start to improve again

 

Agree. It's been an intense period, especially with our style of play now.
A full week inbetween games should help.

 

And the fact Manchester United have 3 games before the final and we only have 1

 

We'll have 2 games in hand after the final, W Ham away and Brighton home, midweek matches I'd say,next round of Cup going midweek so we'll see how those teams get on.

 

Yeah, Barcelona twice and a resurgent Leicester. Not easy.
