What time/day will Jones be sacked?

Well, fortunately I had to dash off immediately after the final whistle to go and drink beer and talk about music. Guess which part of my afternoon and early evening has been the more enjoyable?

The most disappointing thing to discover on my return to football world is that the fittest human in history still has a job as a Premier League manager.

Come on Sport Republic, do the decent thing for crying out loud, you are killing our club.
Tell the truth you were dashing off to confront Jones in the tunnel but you are too old to catch up with him but fair play for trying. <laugh>

Just tell the delusionist to f*** off. I've been watching Saints since 1958. Ups and downs, cup winners, European tours, good days... and not so good, home and away. But this, no purpose second half 10 v 11, their best player Neves playing defensive midfield, JUST ****ING MARK HIM, Please stop him running the game. We've got an extra player, push up for f..ks sake. Get the c..t out. Give me competence, it really isn't difficult. Relegated because we've got a twat as a manager..

Can’t believe I left that game not devastated or pissed off. Walking out the stadium just kinda feeling numb to it all. Only Saints lose that from the position we were in. Surprised by the fans apathy to Jones. It was all support and trying to get behind the team, tinged with nerves and I think, an expectation and acceptance that we would **** it up as time went on. Jones out songs only started after Wolves second? And were only pretty brief if unanimous protests. I think most fans realise that it’s too ****ing late now regardless of what happens to Jones after that so what’s the point. Thanks SR. We’ve been worn down by the football and results we’ve been subjected to over the last few years. Nobody can put the blame at the fans door today anyway, they tried to ignore the elephant in the room and get behind the team and were repaid with a classic Saints collapse.

Funny; I meet up with my son for a general catch-up, Saints, etc. Nice couple beers before game & really good chat. 2.30 & he said, “better move” & I replied “do we really have to go”? It was great talking usual bollocks with him, who’s a great mate as well. We left. Just over an hour later, everything imploded. Still is. Seriously.
