I think a key part of the statement was the "new evidence" part. This could have been something that when presented to the prosecution and accuser, made them decide to withdraw the complaint...but we will never know.

The one thing I can't understand is, if they are still together/got back together like is being reported of your the female who made the accusation in the first place and it was true, then why would you go back and if you where the male who was accused and it wasn't true, why would you be with a the person who made the accusation

I never said she was a lying bitch and nor would I. In the same respect I wouldn't just automatically find him guilty and wish harm on him etc. Bar a very limited few, nobody will never know the full and truthful story, hence why I don't think it's fair to jump down on either side of the fence

It’s 99.9% that that’s the case. I saw all the content when she posted it all that night and it fully reflects a very abusive relationship and controlling behaviour at that moment in time, I cannot see a way it could be played off as role play or any of the other ‘what if’ scenario’s people have mooted as this has played out. The fact that she has remained with him is neither here nor there. People do all sorts of seemingly illogical things that even they themselves couldn’t explain or justify. Maybe also he has changed his ways and manner because people can and do and they have now moved on as a couple which they are both fully entitled to do.
