Summary
  1. England beat Pakistan by 26 runs to win second Test and claim series
  2. Robinson has Ali caught behind for final wicket
  3. Wood takes four overall, including key dismissals of Nawaz and Shakeel
  4. Shakeel made a superb 94 before being given out caught down leg in tight decision
Great win today.
England had only ever won 2 Tests in Pakistan prior to winning 2 in 2 weeks.

Like London busses

In 61 years before the last two matches, England had only won twice in Pakistan. In the same period Pakistan had only beaten England two or three times ( can't find the exact figure ). In other words very boring series.

Edit:- according to Michael Atherton it is two wins to Pakistan.

Getting my cricket fix, watching the ladies against Ireland in T20 world cup. Just about to win, Alice Capsey 51 in 22 balls, 11 of which were boundaries, 10 x 4 and 1 x 6. What a talent is emerging there. And they have just won by 4 wickets.

We still have to play India and Pakistan, but win one and we will almost certainly qualify for the semis.

Zimbabwe lost to the West Indies, I have a soft spot for both those teams, though I was supporting Zimbabwe in that one

First Test, Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui (day one of five)
England 325-9 dec: Brook 89, Duckett 84; Wagner 4-82
New Zealand 37-3: Anderson 2-10
New Zealand trail by 288 runs

Good day for us.

First Test, Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui (day-night, day two of five)
England 325-9 dec (Brook 89, Duckett 84; Wagner 4-82) & 79-2
New Zealand 306 (Blundell 138; Robinson 4-54)
England lead by 98 runs

Even day today.

Watched day one fully, but day two connection was very sporadic. Using freestream now. We are slightly ahead I would guess, but as they have to bat last I would think we are favourites.

Yeah only being two down with an almost 3 figure lead is the position I would prefer to be in out of the two teams
