I’d be going all out for Undav but doesn’t seem like it’ll happen. Not going to lie I’ll be disappointed if the kid from Arsenal is the only striker we bring in but they’ve pulled it out the bag nine times out of ten with transfers so can’t really write them off just yet.
The last lad we picked up from the Arsenal has done alright.

Surely the art of picking up the right players, for the right deal, is to find the ones who haven't quite been performing to their right level.

It's a little disconcerting to see people saying our targets having been setting the world alight at their club's ...

.. if they were we probably wouldn't be getting close to signing them.

Exactly and let TM and his team coach them and improve them.

Not Sunderland related, but Joao Cancelo leaving Man City for Bayern on loan is mental transfer news
He's been very poor this season. Something has clearly gone wrong with him.

Totally get that mate but he’s playing in the u21 league, that’s not really a level to be underperforming at if you’ve anything about you. Good youngsters are generally playing well ahead of their age group if they’re not loaned out. Taking a chance on someone like Lihadji who’s played at a higher level is fair enough, but taking a chance on someone who’s been underwhelming in u21 football that’s probably equivalent of national league standard/L2 at a very push is a big gamble.

TBH mate, I've no idea if that's the case ...

... I know the name and that's it.

These clubs have so many young lads it's impossible to keep track.
