Absolutely. Same with the red cards Liverpool should have had today but they bottle it. Football is corrupt to ****. Roll on the day it goes 'pop'
Arsenal bidding 70m for Caicedo. He's worth it and another cracking deal for Brighton. They'll end up selling Mitoma for over 50m. They've just paid 2.5m for him. They're doing exactly what our intentions are and it will be interesting watching them to see if they make the jump to a top 4 club and how they do it because at the moment they're on the fringes and their best players keep wanting to jump ship.
They don't really have a say, ultimately. Leicester were genuine top 6 contenders for at least 5 year and that's went tits up because they were always spending beyond their means. Brighton seem to be on top of that. You only have to hit the champions league once and your status goes through the roof for attracting quality players.
I think we'll get Simms on a perm late on deadline day. When Everton have gotten over their (alleged) strop and have the players in they want. I don't see another loan being the way forward for either club. Certainly hope so anyway, I rate him.
Blackburn bought they title and they were all spent out after that. Newcastle have had the ability to attract top players over the years when they're flying. Leeds ffs They attracted Robbie Fowler, Rio Ferdinand, Robbie Keane, Dacourt, Viduka,
Fingers crossed we manage to get Simms, I think him and Geldhart will prove a handful in the Championship
With the likes of Clarke, Roberts, Amad, Neil, etc, we'll be making plenty of chances so any good striker would want to be here. If Everton had decided to keep Simms they'd have said so by now and focused his mind on Everton. The fact they haven't leads me to believe they're just playing games with us to get the most money ... ... I trust our club and think we negotiate well these days, I think we'll announce two signings from Everton, Anderson and Simms. Young potential signings will be acting on our behalf, these days, and putting pressure on their clubs to release them ... ... it's like having undercover agents working for us
Won't be this lad. Unless they buy him and loan him to us. https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/fo...tenham-chelsea-fc-transfer-news-b1056407.html
I don’t see why you would move from one youth team to another youth team to play U21 football, when you have a ready made pathway into the first team of an exciting young attacking championship team on the up and could potentially be playing in the Premier League next season? (That’s if we were in for him mind) The only thing that this smacks of is that he wants to remain in the London area (if the article is to be believed) Good luck to the lad though, I think he has a very bright future.
