That’s what can happen when all the details of the deal have been broadcast all over social media. Whatever happened to doing transfers quietly. Say nothing till all signed up
I think the leak was originally from Juve. They were trying to build a bidding war. Happy to be told I'm wrong on that but I'm sure the leak was Italian. Luckily we have Jesse Marsch and McKennie wants to play here.
I've come up with a new rule for the January window (Jammy's Law). Basically clubs have to register a fee and nominate players they are interested in prior to the window opening and if you don't nominate you cant sign that player during that window. The idea is to intoduce greater integrity back into the game and stop all this gazumping. So...say your interested in 5 players and the nomination fee is £100,000 per nomination then that will cost you £500,000 with no gaurantee of signing anyone. The other thing is; All nomination fees go to the lower leagues in the country the player is registered if no transfer occurs. This is for the top European Leaues only so; England France Spain Germany Italy Haven't worked out the finer details yet obviously but I'd envisage that you wouldn't nominate and pay the fee unless there was the potential of a green light from the selling club.
There's no chance we'd get the likes of Sinisterra, Adams, McKennie and Gnonto without Marsch. We're incredibly fortunate to have him.
I suspect there is a nice hotel on the outskirts of Leeds on a golf course with 3 USA players having a pleasant catch up over a drink and a meal. Welcoming McKennie this evening. May even see a couple of American coaches joining them…..
Kristensen will mature like cheap plonk. Whereas there's hope for Aaronson who would probably look good in our U16's.
Not sure about Gnonto though. Think March was indifferent. Remember watching the club video when Gnonto arrived almost unexpectedly to be introduced to March and he didn’t seem overly welcoming.
Whilst I agree with all of that and know Rads will be eternally grateful for your insight into running a multi million pound business, there is the incredibly minor point I have to bring to the table. Even if we go down, because he has been shrewder than a shrewd person, he’d be twice as well off as when he arrived and I’ve had fun watching him do it Back in the Prem and my beans are telling me we are going to win the cup
And yet there's still a small fraction of our fanbase that would have rather seen Bielsa fail and Radrizani do his dough in. Or maybe that's just the impression they give when posting on here
