It would appear from reports that if he came to the club, Lamouchi wouldn't bring any of his previous entourage with him. He would instead get Bamba as his assistant which would be a very good move from Tan (at last!) towards bringing the fans back into the fold.

Those reports state that both Whitehead and Ramasut would retain their positions which is again not necessarily a bad thing to provide some continuity. What we don't want is that continuity stifling progress on the playing front. We dearly need a new approach/direction, and hopefully if it is to be Lamouchi, all power to him.

Ex Forest manager. Turned them from strugglers to almost playoff contenders (missed out on the last day, something all Bluebirds will be familiar with).

Plenty of experience and a masterstroke to bring big Sol Bamba back into the mix with him too.
