    Just read this in the Sentinel;

"Supporters will always have the RIGHT ANSWERS after the game and I have to accept that" he continued. "The people who moan after this match weren't moaning at Wembley, but I have to accept that........

Now for me that is a swipe at the potential fan backlash, although I do acknowledge that statements can be taken out of context in print form.

I think pretty much all of the Stoke fans (positive & negative) have known the RIGHT ANSWERS for a long time. To compare glory hunter wembley fans (I dont mean all, but there were alot of fans there that day that were not season ticket holders) with the hardcore never say die away supporters is petty and childish!

Why does he feel the need to take a swipe at fans, does he not realise that the home atmosphere was very hit and miss in our bad spell last term and also so far this year? Does he not realise that the hard working fans are a very important revenue stream? Does he not realise that we live in a democratic society which values free speech and opinion - we are no longer uneducated pit workers and potters who have no valued contribution to make? Does he not realise, that now of all times is to galvanise the supporters together and not potential alienate them?

    Pride before a fall Tony?

I think most of us were moaning after Wembley as that performance was also devoid of passion, energy, commitment and football. Supporters are entitled to opinions Tony so save your breath having a go at us and have a go at the players and yourself cus you know we are right on this one. Or are you really feeling that vunerable at the moment?

    Smither's
That, is part of T.P.s interview re radio stoke I heard it all. He did indeedy say all of that. I remember thinking " Tony you are such an arrogant so and so" I went to the Semi and YES we were FULL of PRAISE that day and Proud because it's simple and easy enough for even T.P. to understand. We the " long time fans" had something to be proud of. The final, YES we were there and like someone has said.. I didn't enjoy it one bit. A great day out, sure it was, a great game, NO it was not. YET again we just lay down and let Citeh play us off the park?? OK I did not expect in my heart of hearts to beat them. Just to compete and we did not do that.

Like most on here I try and be honest and balanced with anything I do write. Having heard that interview I also agree that Tony Pulis is slowly but surly hacking each and everyone of the LOYAL Stoke fans off BIG TIME.

Tony, YOU have on numerous occasion RIGHLY said " we the fans our the 12th man" Very true but UNLESS YOU SORT THIS OUT and I mean LOOK AT YOURSELF not the fantastic Stoke fans before having a dig at us. I didn't go to the game yesterday for reasons i've stated before that excuse of a performance.

THOSE who did I salute you bigtime for "Staying behind the team" I heard you loud and proud when we were getting battered, I think it was 4 zip and YOU were still singing. T.P. that is anwhat I call a REAL FAN. I don't CARE who's in charge, I don't CARE who picks the team, I don't CARE what YOU think of me or any other DECENT Stoke fan.

I and EVERYONE else on this board does CARE about Stoke City and the sooner you realise that FACT. The better for everyone.
We do NOT know the answers, I know i surly don't. BUT we KNOW when we're NOT seeing OUR TEAM TRY! We KNOW when we're seeing player's not doing what we KNOW they do best.

That hurts me personally more than you will EVER KNOW!

What can I say, except the statement from Pulis is typical.
Won't say man - because a REAL man with pride AND honour would NEVER have made that statement.

    Two questions:

    1. Where are the St Tony brigade??

    2. I wonder what PC REALLY thinks about it all.

    Hey ho

That's one of the most hurtful things about this all, when the players aren't trying their 100% best, it is extremely sad and hurtful to watch and I've seen it for 2 successive league games now.

Ive seen it for about 8 of the 11 games we have played in the prem. We dont look happy at all this season, I think the players are starting to lose belief and interest in the way they are being asked to play. Lets be honest with the players we have we should be playing a far higher standard of football than big boot.
