No students would ever want to be up thereIt was one of a number of sites looked at for student places years ago. I only know this for fact as I was in a meeting with a contractor for another job in Leeds when he took a call about it from the client and he knew I was from hull and he asked me about the site whilst on the phone and if it was visible etc .... I told him it would never ever get passed by the local council etc so not to waste time on it

Itd be a disaster
Philip Akrill, Manor's owner, was probably too busy to update it after having a six year ban from serving as a director of any company slapped on him. Even if he did get permission to demolish the Lord Line building he'd probably struggle to find a contractor unless he paid up front. The Rank Hovis Mill was one of Manor's properties, and the first demolition contractor pulled out when they weren't paid for work done.christ...
2003 called and wants it's website back
what a piss site

Yeah I was aware of that, the sooner he owns no properties in Hull the better. That bans been served now I'm guessing as he's back as the director ( may 2021 ) of the numerous companies that run out the address in ferriby

I meant more like saving all the old warehouses which HCC could not wait to demolishErm, no thanks.
Defo heard that a reason why it didn't go ahead was that it was deemed to be unsafe with the likelihood of someone falling into the dock, but has you point out it could have been made up and managed to get reported as a genuine concern. Wouldn't surprise me if that was the case, to be fair.I suspect you've either misheard, or someone was in deed making it up for TV.
It's to far gone to be saved now I'd say, but something should be done with the area, but that's been the case since it's closure. The entrance to our city really is piss poor once you pass under the Humber bridge

i cant believe how **** the city centre has become
completely full of empty units, full of anti social behaviour
shocking
