Another weekend when the 3 promoted sides reps were enhanced(albeit with only 1 point), but more convinced than ever that we can all stay up.
Wigan
Wolves
A.N.Other

Dowie was sacked before the next match....

Briatore reportedly marched on to the training pitch at Harlington to tell Dowie which players to select for the following match against Reading. Dowie refused to follow the orders and was sacked in front of the players.

Got to say, both Norwich and Swans playing some great stuff and doing themselves proud atm. I'm almost jealous - until I watch us gelling and doing our bit to upset the premier apple cart too.

Rock on! Let's hope it keeps going all season and our 15th, 16th and 17th targets end up more like 9th, 10th and 11th... no harm in dreaming is there?!!

Hang on a minute, the same Blackburn who were robbed at your place?
At least Dick Turpin , wore a mask!
They've a lot of good players, a managerial change might work wonders for them, Mark Hughes could save them.

The where 3 - 1 up, and both our goals where lucky but it's also Kean's fault for making subs when his team was playing well. And I'd be surprised if they still have Samba/Hoilett in Jan and without those guys they are toast.

Well, what a long thread! Just read the lot and pleasant to read opinions, mostly, with people passionate for their team as is right and proper.

As of now, I am impressed with Swansea as an Arsenal in the making. Eye catching football, but the test will come in the second half of the season. Norwich have Prem experience and can score and grind out wins.

QPR are weeks behind you guys. The fact that Warnock played 4:4:2 for the first time yesterday is a reflection, in part, of the players he did not have pre season etc. Obviously I hope we will buy well in January and then only time will tell.

Good thread and good luck to all - except etc etc.

Maida, maybe I am too nice but, having experienced that particular pain, I would not wish relegation on anyone - well almost anyone. Why 'almost anyone'? Millwall!!

I wonder what odds you would have got for all three to stay up at the beginning of the season? I think its a real possibility now. I would add Everton and West Brom to potentially be 'A.N. Other'. Everton need to strengthen, but will possibly loose players in Jan. West Brom, although impressive when loosing to Man U and Chelsea at the start of the season have since also lost to Swans, Stoke and Everton. They rely too heavily on Long and Odemwingie.
I also don't think Bolton's thumping of Stoke today automatically means they'll continue to climb the league. Not impressed with them at all this season, even when they beat us 4-0! Plus they'll probably loose Cahill in December.

To sum up, there are definitely enough poor teams in this league for the three of us to survive.

I would love it, absolutley love it if we all stayed up.
Has it happened before?
Good luck to all three promoted sides.
It would be a real-life fairytale.
( Am I allowed to say that? )

For Norwich to jump two divs and stay up would be a fantastic effort.
Maybe the Saints will achieve this too.
