I think his English skills are a big factor of the misquotes.

He's doing okay at Newcastle as we're in a Top10 place, he 'aspires to more' could very well mean getting into Europe... with Newcastle!

but you and i both know it means im okay at newcastle but want to move to one of the bigger clubs to play in the biggest european competiton

I see SouthLondonManc is back . . . albeit with a different guise

Thank you for your concern, it is very much appreciated.

The fact that a Surrey dwelling, plastic, glory hunter has deemed our tiny, ickle club worthy of your genius will enable us all to sleep better and more contented in our beds tonight.

Now **** off.

Ye well done jordan, obviously Enrique is dying to leave now, he just couldnt resist a season in the Championship first. Mod Face is right and even if he does want to leave, players minds can be changed - Rooney and Tevez very recently.

I don't blame the guy if he wants to go onto bigger and better things than Newcastle can provide.

As much as we need loyal, hard-working players, especially in positions that are difficult to fill, he needs to think about his own career too. He doesn't have much chance of receiving a national call up from Newcastle when most of the Spanish team are playing regular European football. His only hope is that Capdevila (33) will be ending his international days soon, however he managed every single minute of the last World Cup, and being that Spain won, that's a fair few minutes of football.

Finding a decent left-back, or one half as good as Enrique will be a tall order if he leaves.
